As locals and frequent travelers ourselves, we value transparency above all things.
Here are some things to note:

This property is on an industrial/business park style road, not a neighborhood. We are near warehouses, logistic companies office parks etc. This won't affect your use of the house in any way but we mention it so you know what to expect visually when pulling up.

This listing is in a transitional neighborhood in North Charleston. If you've never been to our city, or if you've never been to a place that is racially and economically diverse, you probably won't like it and we would suggest booking elsewhere.

If you have any specific questions about the area just ask! My family has lived and worked in North Charleston for 100 years and we are glad to guide you.

Note on Bugs: We have the house professionally maintained, but depending on the season you may see a bug. This is not an indication of the house not being clean, but a reality of living in the south :) If you see a bug, let us know and we will handle it swiftly.

Pool + Gym: We have a relationship with a country club through which guests can book day passes. The club is 6 minutes away from the house. The admission to the club is NOT included in the booking price, bookings must be made in advance, and additional rules may apply.

Joseph is a great host with amazing communications. The house is cute and just right for 4. It’s an odd industrial neighborhood which we were forewarned about but don’t let the neighborhood dissuade you. Very confortable and well stocked. Highly recommended!

Accommodations galore

My wife and I couldn’t have had a better stay at the Riley. Joseph was communicative from the day we booked our stay and offered assistance numerous times, even though we didn’t need anything because so much was provided. Check in was easy, WiFi had no issues, and snacks and small toiletries were provided. We have 2 dogs over 50 lbs and it is extremely difficult to find a place to stay that allows more than one pet, or pets over 50 lbs. They had a fenced in yard, provided dog bowls, and rags to wipe their feet. Simply couldn’t have been a better experience- I’d give 10 stars if I could! (There were also lots of games, books, and accommodations for children. You can tell the host does everything they can to be all inclusive).

The place is very comfortable with lotsOf amenities. Loved our stay! There is a smell we think from behind the washer and dryer. You might want to look into this. We will book the house in the future
