About this property

Oceanfront, 3 bedroom property, Lovely location

Relax in our 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom home on the quiet side of the island of Curacao, outside of the village of Westpunt. We are located in a gated community at the Marazul Dive Resort. The resort is on a cliff which allows for beautiful ocean and sunset views from the our balcony. There are 2 flights of steps with easy access to jump/dive into the warm waters of the Caribbean. The communal pool is surrounded by beautiful flowers and palm trees. Our home has been recently renovated and freshly painted with 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms which makes for a spacious and private retreat. The resort is in an ideal location for those who wish to be away from the more crowded areas.

This house was perfect for our group of five. It’s ideally located close to restaurants, the national park, and some amazing beaches. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and we loved the thoughtful touches—plenty of hooks for hanging wet towels and an outdoor clothesline, which was incredibly convenient.The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked very well, and the extra fans were a great bonus for the main living area. The views are absolutely spectacular, and the iguanas wandering through along with the stunning sunsets were truly the cherry on top of an already wonderful stay.

Great place to relax after your adventures

Wonderful place!

We started at Marazul four years ago and have gone back every year. We absolutely love this place.HOWEVER - this life isn't for everyone. It is a quiet resort that does go to bed early and there aren't lots of restaurants or nightlife in the area (there are some great restaurants just not lots of them). If your ideal vacation is to spend lots of time snorkeling/diving, reading books, lounging on the beach, and enjoying the sunset with a home-made cocktail in hand, then this is the place. This property - first time we have stayed in this unit and it was fantastic. Owner was very communicative and helpful (not that we had much that we needed!) Loads of room and the upstairs porch was used a ton. Steps to the pool and the snorkeling along the wall was great too. Definitely a place we would go to again.

Paradise beside the ocean

Diannes’ place had all we needed to make our family stay at her unit perfect! We were there 14 days and not much wind, but that is the weather! We asked for 2 cribs (playpens) and 2 high chairs, for the one year old twins, which was at the unit when we arrived. Would not hestitate to stay again! Thank you Dianne

Friendly and peaceful

The house was very nice. Loved the deck and patio. We had no difficulties. It was lovely and easy to find and restaurants were nearby. We enjoyed snorkeling in front of the resort. There were some days that it was too rough for a 71 year old and a nine year old to relax and snorkel there, but there were multiple beaches within a 5 to 10 minute drive that were amazing. The fish and the beaches were beautiful. We would have loved a second week to explore more of the amazing beaches. My granddaughter really enjoyed the iguanas and the neighbors really enjoyed watching her with the iguanas. The pool was very nice. The neighbors were super friendly and helpful.It was a long ride to the other end of the island, we found that a benefit. We didn’t love the ride but loved the quiet at our end of the island.

Fourth stay here, and there will be more

Fourth stay in this unit, sixth time total at Marazul. Just perfect, unit is wonderful, diving out front is good, nice restaurants nearby, GoWest dive shop is under new management and better than ever. We have typically done two or three dive weeks to the Caribbean a year for the last decade, and Marazul and Diane's unit particularly just keep calling us back.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Great location for snorkeling and diving! This location is far away from the bars, shopping, nightlife and this worked perfectly for us. The unit is nicely decorated, clean and well supplied. You have everything you need for cooking. The owner is awesome to work with! Bring bug spray as no see ums and mosquitoes will find you. ;) Keep in mind you are about 30 minutes drive from the good grocery store.

Stay here!

This was the perfect place. Not knowing a lot about Curacao, we lucked out by choosing Marazul Dive Resort. We were close to snorkling and a few restaurants within walking distance. Other residents/visitors were very friendly, as well as the iguana that ate lettuce from my hand! Regarding this specific cottage.... it was perfect for four adults. Just know that HOT water is not available in all three bathrooms, but the water was warm enough to be enjoyable. We couldn't have chosen a better place!

We love the quiet nature of the resort and there are also plenty of activities in the immediate area. We are happy that the resort is located on a cliff which allows for some beautiful views. It has been really fun for us to vacation here.
