About this property

Gemini Mountain Getaway- Mountain Views, Fireplace, Close to Trailhead

Take in the unbeatable mountain views from a sun-soaked alpine deck at our mountain retreat. At 11,600 feet above sea level, you will truly experience high alpine living.

Nestled in a simply gorgeous setting, this brilliant property offers a cozy retreat for guests looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. This mountain cabin boasts 3 inviting bedrooms, including 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, 1 bunk bed, and 1 twin bed. The bathrooms are equipped with showers and hair dryers for your convenience. The kitchen is fully stocked (just as we like it when visiting with our own families). The wood burning fireplace, with plenty of wood provided, will warm you up against the cold mountain winds. During the summer, a swing, ninja line and hammock make for relaxed fun. During the winter, sleds, shovels and snowshoes allow for romping and building in the snow. Hike around the 9 acre property or trek just a bit up the road to access the Pennsylvania Mountain and Pika Trailheads. Don't miss the vibrant starry skies on the many cloudless nights! Feel free to reach out to us - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out.

We had such a great stay here! The mountain views were absolutely amazing and made the whole experience feel peaceful and special. The drive in does include about 12 to 15 minutes on a gravel road, which is a bit long and rough at times, but honestly it was totally worth it once we arrived. We stayed with family and had young toddlers with us, and it ended up being such a perfect spot. There were toys and activities provided, which made a huge difference and kept the kids happy and entertained. There was also a really comfortable setup for them to sleep, which made everything easier for us as parents.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. It was a great mix of beautiful scenery, family friendly comfort, and a relaxing atmosphere.

We stayed for a week. The view is spectacular, bring binoculars if you can there is so much to see. The house is incredible. Star gazing from the main floor and loft area is inspiring. The loft(primary suite) has skylights and remarkable views of the mountains as you wake up. Very spacious. Comfortable beds. Great communication with the host. The Pennsylvania mountain trailhead is less than a 5 minute walk from the house. Great experience can’t wait to go back.
