Central location for budget traveler
Jessica was a wonderful host, very responsive, good suggestions on places to shop and visit and she provided coffee, yogurt, granola and fruit for us! We felt safe inside the unit although the area is pretty rough. Off street parking is good and being in the end unit away from the street was quiet. The central location is great for getting to downtown, USC, Hollywood, etc. The building is very old but she has made it comfortable. Papa Cristo's and Guelaguetza are great places to eat in walking distance.

Wonderful experience staying in Jessica's lovely bungalow! Reason enough to return to LA.
In July 2018, I visited Los Angeles in order to attend a professional conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The bungalow is two miles from the convention center -- just a quick and inexpensive Uber/Lyft each morning and evening. One evening I walked the distance and it is doable for active folks. The ride is quicker, of course.
Jessica has appointed her bungalow with thoughtfulness and care, and it truly felt like it was designed especially for me. It is immaculately clean and fresh, yet still has the charm of historical Los Angeles. The friendly neighborhood added to the pleasure of my stay here. Each day, my Uber driver dropped me a short walk away, and as I walked to and from my bungalow, neighbors on their porches greeted me with pleasant, good-humored banter.
Jessica has addressed every detail in making this sweet bungalow feel like home to guests. I loved the elephant theme in the living room! The bedroom was perfect and the bed was even more perfect. In fact, the bungalow is so comfortable that just being there was restful, even when I wasn't sleeping.
The bathroom, like the entire bungalow, was sparkling clean, with personal supplies guests might need. Very thankful for the nice hair dryer. Plenty of shampoo and conditioner for people who don't have their own. Crisp, clean bathroom linens seemed brand new.
The kitchen is always important to me, as I have food issues and must prepare much of my own food. Jessica has provided all the utensils someone like me needs, with none of those toxic "non-stick" pans. I had all the pans I needed for my daily meals. In addition, there are snack items and food staples, including coffee, tea, cocoa, olive oil, etc. -- things that can be difficult to pack and get through TSA.
While I had never met Jessica before, she went to considerable efforts to contact me at my LAX arrival time to see that I was able to connect with a shared-ride. I had some trouble with that, but her suggestions helped me with that. Before I arrived at the bungalow, she sent a perfectly-timed message with bungalow access code and WiFi access information.
Finally, Jessica went far beyond what I would have expected as she actually took me shopping for food. I have considerable and profound food difficulties and Jessica was familiar with where I would need to shop to get what I needed. Having Jessica was like having a caring relative seeing to my needs. Staying in Jessica's bungalow is reason enough to return to LA.

Koreatown bungalow in emerging neighborhood met our needs
Jessica was very conscientious about our comfort. That was appreciated. Space has one bedroom with queen bed, fold out couch in living room, remodeled full bath and full kitchen. We parked two cars without problem. Our days were out so we used the space just for sleep and morning showers. Kitchen came stocked with snacks! Developing neighborhood. Clean. Recommended.

I take a lot of pride in the details. My intention is for you to have great trip and enjoy your stay fully
Why they chose this property
Feels like home having all needed for daily living and is peaceful. With Los Angeles traffic being so very difficult you can end up spending unnecessary time on travel. This location is still going through gentrification with is reflected in lower price I offer. Although its not fully gentrified you are so centrally located you will save a lot of time having fun instead being stuck in stop n go traffic for hours. My two units are very clean and kept up well.
What makes this property unique
