Our family had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. We loved that the location was a short walk to the Main Street in Helen but far enough that you didn’t get the traffic noise. The check-in and out process was very easy! I would definitely stay here again!

My family and I have stayed at this beautiful property two years in a row and we loved it. Walking in the second time was like coming home. Our children and grandchildren were so excited to come back to Deerfield cabin they too love this place. We loved the bedrooms and themes of each one. Our youngest grandson loved playing with the toys they have for children. The kitchen is equipped with many cooking pots and utensils and we, my daughters and I, loved cooking breakfast and dinner. If you want to know about the history of the house there is plenty of material provided in the pictures and albums around the house. The location is excellent for the town festivities and if you want to go hiking several places are close by. The Deerfield cabin maybe in town but it can also have a remote mountain atmosphere especially in the evening by a nice campfire. In the mornings we would drink our coffee on the deck watch the sun come up, listening to the wildlife sounds, and the town waking up. The owner, Nina, is very accommodating to ensure your stay is comfortable and pleasant. It’s like she knows what you need and has anticipated all your needs. If your looking for relaxation, fun and adventure Deerfield Cabin should be your choice for your time in Helen, you won’t regret your decision. Deerfield cabin feels like coming home. P.S. keep an eye out for the groundhog

The owners are amazing people, and their property is even better! They have truly thought of everything to make guests feel right at home. Need basic spices? They’re there. A sewing kit? They have that, too!The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with just about every pot, pan, bowl, and utensil you could possibly need. There’s both a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig, with K-cups, tea, hot chocolate, and even spiced cider provided. The entire property is exceptionally clean and well maintained, and there are more towels than even a large family could possibly use!The outdoor spaces are just as wonderful as the inside. The fire pit area is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. There’s also a separate covered outdoor area with a gas grill, refrigerator, and large table. The grill is fully equipped with all the utensils you’ll need, making outdoor cooking and dining a breeze.And the best part? THE LOCATION! You’re just a short walk from Hoffer’s Bakery, Betty’s General Store, and all the festivities. The Festhalle is less than a 10-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy everything the area has to offer without worrying about driving or parking.This property is the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, cleanliness, and thoughtful hospitality. We had a great time staying at this property with our friends. This house is in a great location that is convenient to downtown but also tucked back away so it feels like you’re in the woods. Awesome outdoor setup and amenities, and we appreciated the full kitchen, board games, and blankets. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

Well maintained and comfortable beds! This cabin had just about anything you could think of that you might need in a home away from home. Easy walk to anywhere in Helen, lovely outdoor eating space, and campfire spot. Plenty of space for everyone. Nina is super friendly and a great host. Deerfield is absolutely amazing! The location is perfect with everything in walkable distance. It is so well stocked you can just show up. Betty's grocery down the road is very reasonable too so don't hesitate to pack minimally. We'll definitely be back again!

This is a great house! The location is literally a 5 minute walk to the best of downtown Helen. Close to a park too! And we stay in alot of vacation rentals, and this property was the best-stocked house we have ever visited---it had everything we could possibly need! We definitley hope to go back to stay longer next time.
