The Hideaway is a family-owned beach bungalow in Hull, MA, nestled between Nantasket and Gunrock beaches. It's the perfect getaway for solo retreats, couples, small families, remote workers, commuters, or best-friend adventures.

The Hideaway offers a unique blend of natural beauty, creative spirit, and relaxation. This private, single-dwelling home features a fully equipped kitchen and all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom includes a stand-up shower with dual shower heads, and we provide all your essential toiletries.

The dining and living area includes a spacious kitchen table that can expand to accommodate family dinners, game nights, or puzzle sessions. Relax in the cozy blue velvet swivel chairs, enjoy some vinyl on the Bluetooth-enabled record player, or connect your device to set the vibe. We've maximized the charm and functionality of our 516-square-foot layout to create an open, inviting space.

The second-floor bedroom features a queen bed with soft, cozy linens. Downstairs, the living room includes additional guest sleeping space, a smart TV, and room to unpack and unwind.

Step outside and explore the nearby beaches, paddleboarding spots, scenic trails, fresh seafood, and local gems. Convenient access to ferries and trains makes city adventures or commutes a breeze, all while keeping nature close.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place all closed trash bags in the receptacles outside by the back fence. Lock Lid.Recycling can be placed in the designated bin outside. No need to put recycling in a trash bag.
Please return parking pass from your vehicle dash back to the work desk inside or in the clear display case by driveway.
Ensure fire pit and grill propane is OFF and units covered
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please be sure to keep the walkway and stairs clear during your stay as to not create any disturbance in the shared space.
There are seasonal parking passes at the work desk inside. PLEASE place the parking pass on your dashboard while you are visiting

The location was perfect for us:walking distance to two beautiful beaches! We met some great people just walking around the Hull neighborhood! Paddle-boarding on a picture perfect day was wonderful. The house was perfect and surpassed our expectations! We had every possible convenience and were surprised how well everything fit in a small cottage!

Quaint little gem!

We enjoyed our one night here. It's nothing elaborate but if you've ever wanted to try tiny house living, this is a great test! Walked to dinner and then easy drive to Cohasset Circus Tent for a concert.

Perfect Escape

The bungalow was everything I’d been looking for! Charming, adorably decorated, well equipped with all we needed, and lovely neighbors.That said, for us (a couple in our early 70’s) the outdoor stairs were uneven and a challenge. We both tripped carrying our things in. Having the bathroom on the lower level, and maneuvering the narrow stairs and low ceilings were a challenge at night.We adjusted and were very careful, leaving with wonderful memories of Hull and a perfect escape! Thank you so much!

The Hedrick Family lives just around the corner from The Hideaway. We are a local, creative, and hard-working family who love our little town of Hull. The Hideaway is a labor of love, and we want you to experience the same magical vibes that makes this place so special.

Our days are spent raising our three girls, visiting Hull Gut, commuting on the ferry, relaxing at the beach, and soaking in the local scenery. The experiences you’ll have here are the ones we treasure most.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood chose us. Like so much of what you stumble upon in Hull, The Hideaway was a hidden gem, tucked away and waiting to be discovered. From the moment we found it, we knew it was the perfect place to channel our family’s creative energy.

Over the course of a year, we poured our hearts into rehabbing this special home, breathing new life into it and making it what it is today.

What makes this property unique

The Hideaway is a beach bungalow with modern amenities and a thoughtful, efficient use of space. Nestled between Gunrock Beach and Nantasket Beach, it’s surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Northeast.

Bordering the Weir River Estuary, you can explore the wooded trails of World’s End, which hug the coastline, paddleboard in Hull Bay, or sink your feet into the sand at the beach.

No matter the season, staying at The Hideaway lets you experience the unique personality of an East Coast beach town while offering easy access to Boston and its surrounding areas via the ferry or commuter rail.
