About this property

Cottage Nestled in Nature

This studio unit is situated on 4 acres of peace & quiet, where you will have your own private abode nestled in nature as you listen to the owls hoot! It’s located behind our mom’s house- she won’t bother you, but will be close by if needed! We are pet friendly, just communicate it with the host beforehand- there will just be a small pet fee & pets must be trained. This studio provides a private washer, dryer, smart tv, bonfire pit, newly constructed kitchen & bath, futon, cook top, retro appliances, & queen sized bed.

This cottage is located behind a main house, but everything at the rental is privately yours. You will have your own outdoor section & private entrance into your cottage. The only thing shared is the driveway & yard.

This unit comfortably situates 2 people, however, the futon is quite comfortable for a kid or someone under 6 ft & willing to accommodate an extra person if needed- please just let us know!

10 mins from Mississippi State University.
15 minutes from Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge.
15 minutes from Downtown Starkville.

Located in a quiet area with no traffic- just a lot of nature. You may see deer families & hear the hoots of owls on your stay here with us!

Pets are allowed, but must be discussed with hosts prior to booking. $50 pet fee must be paid for and pet must be trained. You will be responsible for any damages from pet. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR PET ON FURNITURE.

Nice studio apartment behind a home. Very clean, very quiet. Nice bathroom but be aware. Shower does not get very warm. Nestled in nature but barely out of town. Convenient to stay for a ballgame.

We booked this VRBO while in town for a concert. Loved the location out of town. Easy to find. Communication with owners was good. We didn’t get to spend much time outside but did see a few deer when we returned at night.

Clean in-laws cottage

We needed a place to stay with pets. Place served us well but it is a garage/building turned into a cottage. So if you don’t mind that and need a place to crash between ball games it works great! Hosts responded very well!

Clean and quiet. The hot water was an issue because we weren’t told the handle was backwards (owner responded pretty quickly with an answer on why we couldn’t get hot water from the shower). It would be better if there were checkout instructions so we can make sure we leave everything as it needs to be. Not a bad stay. Just a little better instructions to avoid the water issue and check out questions.
