DO NOT BOOK THIS HOME - This was a horrible experience! The host failed to send us the access code. I tried messaging and calling. VRBO tried messaging and calling. Finally, 24 hours AFTER our check-in time, I finally received a message with the access code. Of course, we were forced to find hotel rooms for 5 people at the last minute. So far, VRBO is doing their part to make this situation right. But it is horrible to fly into a town, prepared for an extended stay, and have to sit on the phone for hours trying to get this sorted out, plus thinking you have nowhere to stay. We ended up with expensive rooms, in a bad part of town, but we were desperate. This was a horrible experience all the way around!

House was fine; several maintenance issues including garbage disposal and fan in master bedroom, which was too loud making sleeping in a hot room uncomfortable. Maintenance help reset lock code, leaving us stranded outside but was promptly fixed while we were at dinner. Neighbors across street tend to park on the street, directly behind driveway making exiting driveway difficult for large car. Yard was overgrown. Overall, price/value was reasonable for neighborhood, which had its seedy areas closer to Petersburg.
