This little cabin is really special. Everything as advertised. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. It was clean, quiet, and cool. Very comfortable. The grandkids spent plenty of time on the lake and did catch some fish. Deer in the back yard and armadillo in the front. We actually extended a day because it was so wonderful.

Great stay at the cabin! Owners were super communicative and thought of everything! Great location and wonderful beds. We used the boat, the paddle boat, the grill for burgers and the fire pit. It was a wonderful trip! Would love to go again.
Perfect for a couple of nights getaway! We spent our days shopping Roundtop, which was a little far, but we planned our days accordingly and it was a great. Very clean and had everything we needed!
We had an Amazing time. Fishing, grilling, smores. Access to the 3 boats, Solostove, Cabin was stocked with our needs. Host doesn't skimp at all with most everything you'd need, so don't pack to much cuz it's already there. So much wildlife. We had 5 Deer come up for water, numerous species of birds at the feeder. So quiet & Relaxing. We'll definitely be going back to the Best getaway property we've stayed at yet.Precious Memories To Cherish absolutely Gorgeous
This property was a great little escape into the country with all the conveniences of home. It had everything we needed in the kitchen for baking and we also brought charcoal and used the grill. The firepit was fun and we roasted marshmallows and cooked hot dogs. I would suggest having a bucket of water on hand if using it because any sparks could easily ignite the pine needles that surround the area. We brought some of our own wood, but there was quite a bit provided if we needed it. The boat was really easy to get on and off the shore and we brought some worms and tried fishing with various bait but alas, caught no fish. There was some good birdwatching with cardinals, blue jays, titmouse, and even some buzzards. The TV had Disney plus so we could hang out and eat popcorn and snuggle up and watch a movie, too. The kids liked the bunk beds but had to be careful not to hit their heads on the rafters on the top bunk. The location was great to go over to the Sherwood Forest Faire. This cabin is found at the end of a dirt road, which is well maintained. You have to park your car a little bit up the hill from the property, so you have a bit of a slope and a few spaced out steps to navigate to the front door. We didn't have any problems with unloading our stuff but if you have any major mobility problems, it could be difficult. All in all, this was a gorgeous, super clean, and well stocked property that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We were in town for a mountain bike race. The cabin felt so cozy and had everything we needed. The host communicated so quickly about everything and was very gracious. We wish we had more time to relax there.
