The resort is renowned throughout the Northwest for its handmade burgers, huckleberry margaritas and thirst-quenching lemonade.
If you tire of the water activities, go inside for a competitive game of ping pong or plan a family pool tournament with a mini-pool table trophy. Or, plan a movie night in the living room with popcorn, watching the new flat screen TV (two flat screens upstairs and downstairs). The upstairs TV is a Vizio "smart TV" with "sound bar" that hooks up to Hulu, Netflix, and other TV streaming services.
The owner has also provided DirecTV and WI-FI for guests to use to watch shows and movies.
When night falls, the outside fire pit is the best place to end the evening with s'mores and stargazing.

The four bedrooms provide a variety of sleeping options. Two bathrooms, two baths, and laundry room are located on the main level of the home while two bedrooms, one bath and game room are located on the bottom floor.
While planning your week at the Lake, please take time to explore the town of Sandpoint. A 15-minute boat ride or 20-minute car ride will place you in the heart of town where you will find exceptional dining, shopping, antiquing and a variety of other activities.
Sandpoint lies on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille and is surrounded by three major mountain ranges, the Selkirk, Cabinet and Bitter root ranges. It is home to Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort, Idaho's second largest ski resort after Sun Valley, and is on the International Selkirk Loop and two National Scenic Byways (Wild Horse Trail and Pend Oreille Scenic Byway). Among other distinctions awarded by national media in the past decade, Sandpoint was named the nation's 'Most Beautiful Small Town' by Rand McNally and USA Today.
Another day can be spent at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Incredible views and vistas await you as you ride up the chair lift. There is plenty to do on the mountain with hiking, biking, casual dining, huckleberry picking and more. Don’t forget to call ahead to see what the featured entertainment is.

When we first looked at the property online it looked like it would check all the box’s for us,upon arrival it was clear that this is just what we needed to enjoy 8 days with 4 adult and 6 kids in a far age range! The property and dock had everything and more ,the boat launch across the bay was super easy to use and great to deal with .we had no problem securing our 23ft surf boat to the dock.We will definitely be back again!

Thank you, Scott and family. We hope to see you in summer 2026!
You can’t beat Bottle Bay and this place is awesome! Loved being right on the water and having all the amenities including the pool table, ping pong table, water toys, and the decks and the fire place. We go to Sandpoint every year and rank this spot right at the top of our list. Also, Frankie (property manager) was great to work with. There were forest fires in the area at the time of our stay and she did a great job of keeping us informed before we got to the house and helped us feel comfortable with our concerns over the fires. She’s awesome!
This property is a great place to spend with family. There was never a dull moment, whether we were playing pool, ping pong or swimming in the water. The kitchen was not lacking at all with a good selection of cooking appliances. The property manager was also very accommodating.

DeAnn and Family: Thank you for your kind words about our property manager, Frankie. We think the world of her. And, we hope your family made lifelong memories during your stay. Take care.
The property was just as presented on the website. Very well equipped kitchen. Wonderful yard, deck & dock. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements where we could spread out a little bit. Would love to book again!!
We had a wonderful stay for Labor Day weekend! The house was perfect for two families.
Location was incredible and the accessibility to the dock from the house was great!
The house was more than well stocked from kitchen supplies, etc. to float toys and kids movies.
We will definitely be back!

Hi Amy and Family,
Thank you for your review. Our property manager, Frankie, said you were a five-star family and she enjoyed communicating with you prior and during your stay. We have also made some landscaping improvements and plan on adding a few more trees this fall. We hope to see you summer of 2022 (or 2023). Take care!
Went to the cabin with my children, siblings and nieces/nephews. Such a cozy home with anything you might need to make yourself comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with spices and lots of appliances and cookware. Very kid friendly. Wifi works great.
We had a great time and the property it was exactly as described. Very well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen.
Beds were comfortable and cozy, docks were great for our 3 boats, very comfortable home.
If I critique the property, I would add alot of comfortable lounging outdoor furniture.
Thank you for sharing your home, we took good care of it. 💯💕

AMAZING!!!
We rented the house for a family get together. We had the best time! The owner and the property manager were so easy to work with, and truely went above and beyond! The house was so clean and well stocked. The location is amazing...8 minute boat ride to Sandpoint, the marina is right across the bay (we paddle boarded to dinner one night), the bay is one of the shallower parts of the lake so the water was warmer, and it really wasn’t that busy. We loved it so much we extended our stay. We would highly recommend this property!
This home was on Bottle Bay and in a perfect location. It is only a 30 minute drive from Sandpoint. The house is large and spacious and our group felt there was lots of room. It is right on the lake with a nice backyard for the kids to play games and a nice big dock to run off into the water. The Bay is quite private and and not very busy. There are a couple places to rent a motor boat. If you are looking for a boat to tour around, fish or pull a tube or skier, Bottle Bay Resort is right across the lake (they deliver). If you are looking to wakeboard and wake surf, like we were, you can get a boat from Action Sports in Sandpoint. It takes 30 minutes to drive there and only 10 minutes to get back to the home by water. The property manager, Frankie, was amazing and only a call away if we needed anything, and so helpful in making our stay just perfect. Thanks Frankie! We happened to be there on July 4 and the fireworks in the Bay were as good as I have ever seen before. Overall, an excellent place to stay.
The home is exactly as described and has everything needed for a fabulous vacation. It's a very spacious home with a wonderful game room downstairs. Location is wonderful with beautiful views. Perfect for our family vacation!
Frankie, the house manager, was super helpful and kind.
This property was a hidden gem and had everything we needed and then some. We were very pleased with our week and although the downstairs TV did not work the entire time for the kids, we made due and notified Frankie so she could look into it for the next guest as it wasn’t a big deal.
The property is off the beaten path, so if you want to see “town” life it’s a good 30 minute drive to Sandpoint but an easy and beautiful drive. I’d recommend grabbing loads of groceries in Washington before making your way to the house if coming from Spokane so you can stay and enjoy the lovely lake life and also visiting the winery in Sandpoint.
The kids enjoyed the daily visit from Harley, who was the dog next door. He was super sweet and friendly but something to note.
Only recommendation I might suggest would be getting a couple lounge chairs for the dock that fit the entire body.
We had a great stay over the summer. The location was beautiful and the weather was perfect.
Just a couple suggestions if you are reading this.
DO NOT bring your boat to the house. There is ZERO turn around room and the road is a dead end! We have a long bed pick-up and a large pontoon. It was a disaster when we pulled up to the property. Also, there is NO where to eat or grocery shop within a few minutes of the house. The Marina mentioned was serving very limited food options (cold sandwiches, etc.) and many places that could be accessed by boat were closed due to the heat! BRING your groceries, unless you don't mind spending your vacation in the car.
We had a great stay. Beautiful home, awesome dock and all the amenities we could imagine. Plenty of room inside and out for everyone. The teenagers enjoyed the basement area that includes ping pong and a pool table. The 3 year old really appreciated the art corner! We rented a boat and took several trips to Sandpoint which was a quick 16 minutes away. Great communication and quick response from owner and care taker of the home.

Dear Jennifer and family: so, so happy to hear that your family had a wonderful stay. Thank you for your kind words about our property manager, Frankie. The boat trip from Bottle Bay to Sandpoint never gets old (and the free "parking" is appreciated as well). Take care and we hope you made wonderful memories this summer.
We had a great time!! The house is perfect for our family of 9 and had everything we needed for a week stay. The view is awesome and we were able to rent boats, skis and tubes at Bottle Bay Marina. Everyone agrees that we’d like to come back again next year!

Our property manager, Frankie, enjoyed hosting Jane's family. So many memories were made during this week-long stay!
We had a fantastic stay at this property. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The layout was nice and the storage for the food we brought was excellent. Great dock and deck for the kids to play around. Frankie (property manager) added wonderful touches for our kids and rooms. We would come back here in a heartbeat. We decided to make it a family tradition.
This is by far one of the best places we’ve stayed! Clean and organized. Has everything you could ever need and more! Super kid friendly with plenty of space for the kids to play. The lake temp was like 72 degrees!!! I highly recommend staying at this house, it is an amazing home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was comfortable and had plenty of space for our group! We were able to swim and boat (provide your own). The water was refreshing, but not too cold. The pool table and ping pong table were a plus. If you bring a boat, be aware that the bottle bay marina is not for newbies. It is a tight 1 boat at a time launch with 2 hairpin turns down the single lane road to the launch site.

About the host
Hosted by Kimberly
The owners have been vacationing at Lake Pend Oreille since 2001.
Why they chose this property
Lake Pend Oreille is pure magic. This home is the owners' way of bottling that magic for their family and others to enjoy this one-of-a-kind area in the Northwest (Northern Idaho).
What makes this property unique
The owners' children love the easy access to the dock and the waterfront. Their children spend mornings fishing off the dock for bass and trout. They also love swimming in the lake as well as tubing, knee boarding, and boating. This home is where so many summer memories have been made!
