It’s always our goal to provide guests with the little extras that make traveling easier and more enjoyable. We're glad the kids enjoyed the pool, and we appreciate your feedback regarding the pool hours. Unfortunately, local regulations require our pool to close at dusk because there is not sufficient lighting for nighttime use. Due to sea turtle protection laws in Satellite Beach and Indian Harbour Beach, we are not permitted to install the level of lighting that would be necessary to safely keep the pool open after dusk. We appreciate your understanding as we work to protect our local wildlife while keeping our guests safe. We hope you'll make more wonderful family memories with us on your next visit. What you experienced is actually a natural coquina reef that becomes exposed at certain times of the year, depending on the tides, moon phases, and seasonal conditions.
