We had a great time staying in this amazing house. We loved the views the house and all the provided amenities. The kitchen was stocked and even had a good crock pot to use.
Christie answered all my questions quickly and was very helpful. The house was clean and just as advertised. The beds were comfortable and house was well stocked for cooking. Lots for the kids to do in the house. Backyard was great for the dogs. I would recommend this house to everyone!!!!
Hosts were great. House was very well furnished and in a great location. The ramps helped alot with a 94 year old mother along. Its hard to find a nice house in the mountains so accomodating.

Thank you for being a great guest! Come back soon!
Much more beautiful in person. Love love love this place. We were here celebrating my 30th birthday. We had 13 people. 8 adults and 5 kids with our puppers.
The perfect location with great mountain views! The house is a short drive to downtown Waynesville and Maggie Valley for shopping and dining. Also, the house is very equiped for cooking at home and bringing the kids along.
We had a wonderful family vacation at Grandview Point. The home was very clean. We really enjoyed all the Christmas decorations. There were tons of games available to play. The fenced in yard was nice to be able to let our dogs run around. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The sun room was so cozy to sit it. The house really did have everything we needed.
I’m not sure if the house was cleaned fully before we arrived. The sheets made our whole family break out into a rash. The hottub was not functional for half of our stay because it was not working and was also filled with mold in the filter. There are a lot of things accessible that we had to keep our kids out of. Our son brought up a machete for us to see. The view was good and the house was nice, but there were several pain points of our stay.

Thank you for the feedback. We have never had a problem with our bedsheets causing allergic reactions or the hot tub becoming that dirty in such a fast period of time following service - meaning a previous guest may have spilled something in the water and failed to shock it as instructed.
The $300 REFUND we sent was meant to make-up for the hot-tub, as Rob’s recently widowed mother had heart surgery in SC and we were not able to check on it prior to your check-in. Meanwhile we did get the hot tub fully drained, cleaned, and a new filter within 24 hours of becoming aware of the need.
I am disappointed that none of these remediations met your satisfaction, and that your concerns were deep enough to share publicly rather than discussing further.
We gave you good ratings, even though you brought a dog and failed to pay the $20 per night PET cleaning fee ($120 total).
We will add signs that unattended children are not allowed in the garage, as there are yard tools and chemicals (though all are out of my adult reach).
Here is hoping we can give and receive grace in the future when both parties communicate and try to make things right. Happy Easter
We really enjoyed the cabin especially the mountain views from the spacious decks. It was a great location and perfect for my family. Loved the fenced in backyard which is great for letting our yellow lab out to play. We will definitely be back!
This house has everything you need! Having the baby bed with the monitor and the high chair was a very nice touch. They have baby plates and silverware. It made packing a breeze not having to remember everything for the baby. They also have everything you need for your dog. The hosts are a delight and a pleasure. I can’t wait to stay again.
The property is well-maintained, clean, and has excellent facilities all around. Our stay accommodated well for dogs, toddler, kids, teens, adults, senior citizen, and wheelchair individual. The drive up to the house is a bit steep (as expected in this mountain area), but worth it for the gorgeous view. It is nearby to plenty of activities, restaurants and shops. Communication with owners was great, even warning of bear sightings. I would highly recommend this property!

Thank you! And we hope you’ll come back again soon!
Grandview Point perfectly accommodated our group of five adults and four kids plus dogs. From the games that occupied the kids to the ramp that helped the elder in our group easily acess the house, the owners have thought of everything anyone could possibly need to have a fantastic mountain vacation. The view is beautiful and every morning many different birds greeted us (there's even bird seed at the house). The fenced in yard is highly unusual for the area and made for a fun vacation for our dogs who give Grandview Point five stars too. Needless to say, we definitely will return.
We stayed at 375 Grandview Cliff Heights with family for the weekend of my daughter's graduation from college. We had an excellent weekend together. The location was great because we were in the heart of Maggie Valley and 30 minutes from school. The decks (and hot tub) were a BIG with everyone. The beds were comfortable and living room/kitchen area were big enough for everyone to be together or if someone wanted some quiet time they could go downstairs. Overall, a happy family thanks in part to a wonderful home. I encourage you to book it!

About the host
Hosted by Christie & Rob Kelley
We live in Charlotte, NC. At first sight, we fell in love with this house and hope to retire in Maggie Valley in a few years.
Why they chose this property
It feels secluded, but close to the conveniences of town. Also, we love that the main road is south facing and does not stay icy after snow.
What makes this property unique
Having a split driveway, leading to both levels is very convenient.
