Easy Bear Lodge Quirks:
In Easy Bear Cabin, you might occasionally get a whiff of sulfur in the air—don’t worry, it’s just the well water reminding you it’s real rustic around here. But fear not! Our water supply is filtered through a whole-house filter to keep things nice and fresh. Plus, we’ve added two extra filters to the fridge and kitchen sink to make sure your water is as clean as a bear’s conscience after washing its paws.
Now, about the fridge—it can get a little noisy, kind of like it’s humming along to its own personal concert. And the hot tub? It likes to turn on at random intervals, giving you a fun surprise hum in the night, just to keep you on your toes.
And don’t be alarmed if you hear a small thud or bang when the water’s running through any taps—it’s just the pressure tank getting to work, pulling water from the well. It happens when you use the sink, shower, washer, or basically any water source that doesn’t have a secret stash of water under the floorboards.
Oh, and twice a week, the whole-house filter does its deep cleaning thing at midnight (because nothing says “clean” like late-night maintenance). It takes about 30 minutes, so don’t be surprised if you hear a little noise—it’s just the filter getting its spa treatment. Enjoy the rustic charm!
The hot tub at Easy Bear Lodge is thoroughly drained, cleaned, sanitized, and the water is carefully balanced after each guest's stay. Additionally, the water is filtered three times—first through a whole-house filtration system, through a hose filter during refilling, and the hot tub filter.
As the property uses well water, which naturally contains iron, there may occasionally be a light discoloration in the hut tub. This is a cosmetic effect and does not indicate unclean water. Rest assured, the hot tub is properly maintained and safe for use.
