Amazing house for family and pets! The tide pools on the private beach are a real gem! House had some damages from previous guests and a few cleaning details missed but overall beautiful, fantastical property and hosts!

We loved our long weekend here. The house had everything we needed and with the beach right in our backyard, we were in heaven. Having a home with a bathroom in every single bedroom was phenomenal! The backyard is huge and our pups really enjoyed running about in the yard and having fun. Highly recommend!

This house was great. It was all about the view. There were little things that could use an update. The landscaping hadn't been addressed in a while. The rooms were assured expected and having a bath in each one was the positive.

The “Stones Throw” is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a true vacation. The home is very well appointed with all of the luxuries you would hope for from two tub rooms, private office, separate cabin, entertainment, jacuzzi, staircase down to what feels like your own private beach and so much more. The views are amazing and the location is nestled just away from town to maintain privacy but easy accessible to both Yachats and Florence! The management company is excellent with communication, organization and response time. We can’t wait to come back

Difficult review to write. House was perfect-- great layout, large fenced yard and wonderful view, easy access to beach. Pleanty of room for 8 of us if we could have used all the rooms in the house. What we had difficulty with was mice in the house. I communicated each day we were at the property. First evening, after check in, I let the host know that there were mouse droppings under the kitchen sink. More of a heads up than a worry. Response from host was along the lines of those pesky mice and to keep them updated. Later that evening, getting ready for bed, found mouse droppings in the primary bedroom--on windowsill, in the cupboard that serves as a closet, and on the bedding. Cleaned all that up and let the host know the next day. Response was they had already contracted with a pest company. That night, found mouse dropping under the covers of another bed in an upstairs bedroom along with stuffing--like mice were starting to build a nest. Texted host next morning and no response regarding the mouse situation. After returning home, I emailed feedback using the link provided by Sweet Homes. No response. I am disappointed that there was no offer/attempt to re-clean the house, provide clean bedding (I did a lot of house related laundry during the stay), do anything during while we were at the house. Very expensive house with great potential, but no real support from the host.
