Southgate, a neighbourhood in Lubbock, is home to this holiday home. Spectrum & OMNI Theater and Blue Light Live are cultural highlights, and travellers looking to shop may want to visit South Plains Mall and West End Center. Municipal Garden and Arts Center and Buddy Holly Center are also worth visiting.
Great host. Tons of sleeping space and room. Clean. Great stay. Affordable too.

Besides the tvs not working becaues the internet was down most of the time Amazing just get that internet fixed an it will be an amazing place to stay thank you have a fantastic day
For the price, this place was a really pleasant surprise. Had 6 people and a dog & we had plenty of room. TVs in the bedroom are nice, beds are comfortable, washer and dryer worked. Big fenced backyard very convenient for dog. Plenty of parking if you have multiple vehicles or a trailer. Quiet neighborhood - really close to interstate access for everything. Kitchen is well equipped & everything works I would go on vacation a lot more if I could find more places like this. Watching the fat prairie dogs around the property was good entertainment.
The neighborhood is not great, house is very poorly renovated but you get what you pay for, absolutely. It was clean and quiet. The beds are so LOUD and creaky, I think they have plastic mattress protectors on everything. I would probably just ask for soaps for the showers like shampoo conditioner and body wash for those who need it, you travel quite a way to get to Lubbock and even hotel rooms have soap.

Didn’t stay
Rented and didn’t stay. Sheets were dirty in one of the rooms. And the mattress was so thin with plastic and advertised as a queen mattress. For adults the mattress wasn’t something to lay on. The room wasn’t listed with pictures. Elected to just rent another place to stay and just sacrifice the money for losing the cost versus stay.

We definitely appreciate the constructive criticism and feedback on our home. We have actively replaced mattresses for better comfort and replaced all linen. We believe the linen was stained as we ensure they had been cleaned. Moving forward we’re going to provide makeup wipes for guests to ensure sheets stay stain free. We’ve also updated pictures so every guest can be accommodated.

First appearance the bathrooms and kitchen was clean but the heater vents were a health hazard as was the hvac filter. Maintenance man brought new filter said he was coming back to clean heater closet but never came back. We had to put new filter in. This house needs a deep cleaning, baseboards window sills and edging in garage bedroom was filthy. When we arrived none of the bathroom outlets worked but was repaired. Host was very communicative until the end. Requested check out information never heard from her. There is no kitchen table, a bar area with bar stools that are to short to sit at.Backyard is full of stickers and fence and gates are barely secure to keep dogs in. Back porch light bulb burned out.Location is ok, easy to get on loop to go anywhere in Lubbock. We wouldn’t stay again.
I was in lubbuck for my graduation from Texas Tech and booked this home so my whole family could stay together and save some money. This was the perfect example of you get what you pay for. The home was not very clean evidenced by hair on linens, dirt on the floors and we saw a few roaches. The dishes we pulled out of the cabinet were also hit or miss if they were clean. Shower in the "master" also had hair left in it from what appeared to be multiple people. They attempted to give the impression of clean by dousing in the house in fabreeze and the smell of fabric softner to the point it was overwhelming when we first arrived. The beds were all very uncomfortable with very thin and hard mattresses you could feel the frame under you. As if these things were not enough, the porch light didn't work and while getting in was no problem with the door code provided we did have trouble getting it to lock leaving us with some safety concerns. As for the house its self those were our concerns. That being said, when I initally booked I booked for 3 nights and then found out I needed to cancel one night. I messaged the host as soon as I found out and didn't hear back from the host for over two weeks, then even though she agreed to canceling the one night and refunding the amount it was over a month before this change was actually submitted and then originally I was only refunded a partial amount. While she did eventually make this right, the slow responces were less than ideal .

It was fine for what we paid. I would have been upset if we paid more though. Gnats around all the faucets so went and got some Zevo plug ins. Stove was dirty and so was the coffee pot. Ended up just buying a cheap coffee maker to use instead. Porch light was out so went and got two new light bulbs and replaced myself. Also, missing lightbulb in the kitchen. Bathrooms were very clean. Bedrooms clean although ceiling fans were dusty. Pet friendly but my little dog kept finding thumb tacks on the floor that had fallen off the strings of lights on the living room wall I'm assuming. Overall fine for a reasonable price, however the place needs some improvements for sure. Neighborhood is older but fine. Just know what you're getting. This place worked for us for the money.
