Located outside Hiawassee, minutes from either Lake Chatuge or Lake Burton. Enjoy all the conveniences and features this 2-bedroom cabin has to offer. Marvelous views from a sun-filled screen porch that you could practically live on! A cozy atmosphere and modern amenities with a well-appropriated kitchen await guests. Two full bathrooms, plus the 2nd office/bedroom with a daybed (and a pull-out trundle) for working or lounging, make this a perfect retreat for a couple, a small family, or group of friends wanting to be close to North Georgia attractions. String hammocks in the trees on the hillside or on the screen porch. Use as a relaxing getaway, a professional work-away from home escape, or to get that book read (or written). Breathtaking sunsets will blend into quiet evenings with the sound of a mountain stream below. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind and want to come back again and again!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Put small bags of trash from bathrooms in with kitchen garbage, leave in can and tie bags for staff. If you fill any bags during stay take them to bin in garage (key on small shelf by front door.)
If you leave any condiments please mark their purchase/open date w the sharpie in the pantry. Dishwasher detergent packs are under the sink. Hand wash ceramic coated pans and silicone utensils.
Place any cabin cords or chargers you used in the basket in the dining room and plug in rechargeable flashlights or things you used.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
This is a quiet cabin community. Outdoor noise should stop btwn 9pm-10am. Bring loud activity inside. If nghbrs. complain you may be asked to leave.
WILDLIFE (bears, deer, etc): DO NOT leave food or garbage on deck/outside. Take full bags to bin inside garage: key on sm. tree on shelf by door in LR
10+ days: A $50 “linen/clean fee” is for staff at 5-7 days to collect garbage, reset, and provide a quick clean. We will remind you during your stay.

Great location with beautiful view of the mountains. Short distance to some great restaurants, Ingles, Bon Bons Market, Creekside General Store, and the Antique Mall. Hamilton Rhododendron Gardens is a beautiful place to visit. Most important of all we got in some much needed rest in a cozy cabin with an awesome screened porch. Thank you Paul for being such a great host and sharing your cabin.

We just spent 9 days at this wonderful cabin, in a quiet and beautiful community. The cabin was clean, well stocked (we cooked several meals there and had everything we needed), easy check-in and Paul was an excellent host. He answered any questions we had and made recommendations for the area. Location is great, not far to town and grocery shopping. The screened back porch was our favorite place to start and end each day, beautiful view of the mountains and so relaxing and peaceful. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable (king bed). We enjoyed visiting antique stores in town and in the area. We recommend Lakeview Tavern, Huddle House and El Charro restaurants while you’re there. Close to the Appalachian Trail if you’re looking for hiking. We will be back, we love Hiawassee and the area. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this cabin for your stay. Thanks Paul for sharing your cabin with us, we had a wonderful time this week. Melanie & Brian Bolinger

Amazing cabin stay

My husband and I had a wonderful weeks stay at this lovely cabin...and you will not be disappointed. Paul was so quick to respond from day one to answer any questions we had. And, Paul, your description of the sunset over the mountains was spot on. Coffee on the huge screened deck in the mornings and sunsets in the evening were great ways to start/end our days. VERY quiet at night (such a comfortable king bed!) and just a few minutes from downtown Hiwassee. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a mountain getaway!

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely perfect! The host was incredibly responsive and answered any questions we had right away, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Everything was well-detailed and easy to access, so we never had to worry about a thing.The location was ideal—just a quick 12-minute drive to town, yet it still felt peaceful and secluded. The cabin itself was spotless, and you could tell it was well cared for. One of our favorite parts was the stunning view from the porch—absolutely breathtaking!Getting to the cabin was super easy, with clear directions and no issues at all. Overall, this was a 10/10 stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! We’ll definitely be back.
