The house is so nice and cozy—a perfect mountain getaway. We loved the animals around and the hospitality was wonderful. The house is fully stocked and beautiful. (Having AWD or 4WD was very helpful as the gravel drive up is steep)
We had an excellent stay. The place was fully equipped and was a great place to hang out over our week in Arkansas. Plenty of space for larger groups, with nice kitchen and outdoor areas to spread out. Also enjoyed the friendly dogs and goats on property. Highly recommend booking your stay.
Adorable cabin, great location for exploring the area!
The cabin is very clean and has a great set up. Plenty of space for a family. We adored the backyard area, what a magical place! The location is private and there is a great creek to explore. The road is as described and does require high clearance. We loved meeting the very well mannered herd dogs and didn’t see the goats until the last morning when they walked out of the woods and hopped across the rocks in the backyard. We will be back!
We really loved the cabin. It was so well styled and stocked. The porch was our favorite spot. We enjoyed a fire and playing in the creek just down the road. One insight to share is that the slope up the drive can be daunting if you don't have 4WD and are not use to Northern Arkansas country roads. We were able to conquer it in our Kia Sedona, but it may not be great for more city friendly vehicles lol. The hosts were awesome and very helpful. Definitely recommend if looking for a pretty spot to enjoy sunsets and fireflies.
We thought the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the a/c in all the rooms. The kitchen was stocked better than most. The bathrooms were nice. The deck-patio was spacious and comfortable. The dogs were friendly and happy.NOTE: we drove a 4 door sedan. The road is quite steep in 2-3 places and if wet, we did not think a 2 wheel drive would make it through the steep parts. Also, if you were a timid driver you would have trouble with the steep parts of the gravel road. If we return, we would use an AWD vehicle.NOTE 2: The 4/5 stars for check in was given due to the description of the location of the house on the gravel lane. We arrived after dark and felt we needed a more detailed description of the drive on the lane leading to which structure we had rented. Signs would have helped us to determine which structure was which or a picture or drawing or schematic of the driveways and the buildings that you pass by.
