The place was great! It was clean and comfortable and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was big with everything we needed. We were specifically looking for three bedrooms and an open feel which this one had. We loved eating outside and enjoyed the firepit. It was also close to park which was really nice. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay!

Up North Chalet is a good clean place to relax with family. Located between Glen Arbor and Leland, making it convenient to explore each area. The large kitchen was well stocked with cookware to make many meals. We enjoyed the cornhole, fire pit, board games and puzzles at the home.

Very relaxing stay in Cedar!!! Close to amazing beaches and wineries! We like to cook and grill, the house had everything we needed plus a new grill!! So easy and affordable!! Would recommend:-)

Our Yearly Leland Charter Fishing Trip

We needed a place to stay near Leland overnight for a charter fishing trip we like to take every year. The house was nice and clean when we arrived. Check out is easy and the host responded to the few questions we had. I would stay here again in the future.

The Chalet was an okay place to stay with friends. It is clean, has comfortable beds, and a nice kitchen for cooking & sharing meals. The photos make it appear larger than it is. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes,etc. However,bring a sharp knife for food preparation. The fireplace adds a warm touch, although it did not work on the first night; it was fixed the following day. There’s a fire pit outside, but there was no firewood, and there isn't a nearby location to purchase it. The unit is quiet at night. It’s approximately a 35-minute drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and about 30 minutes to Traverse City.Our main issue is related to Elevated Homes Hospitality Management. Their hospitality claims did not match the reality; 5 stars for marketing. In the welcome emails, we had difficulty identifying the correct address for the unit and ultimately had to call the company for clarification. Check-in for the unit is not until 4 PM, and there is a fee of 25 to access the unit between 2 and 4 PM. We wanted to check in at 3 PM, but we learned that any check-in between 2 PM and 3:59 PM incurs that 25 fee. In contrast, another unit we rented on the trip allowed check-in at 5 PM but let us enter at 3 PM without any extra charge. We have better experiences dealing with the owners of properties.My opinion, this management company prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction.

The electric stove top was severely damaged from renters boiling over pots & pans with oily residue - we tried cleaning 4 times - top of stove & side of fridge had heavy grease build up - we tried to clean up the grease but just gave up - the fridge right side door seemed off location - 1 living room wood sitting chair front legs were broken at the glue joints - I took it apart & reglued them back together - the house & property were nice - it's a shame that renters don't respect other people's property & not destroy it
