The condo was very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Everything was working well(AC, stove, tv, elevators, etc). Bed was very comfortable also. Although one pool was closed for some of our stay, the property seemed to be pretty well maintained with people cleaning everywhere throughout. I didn’t realize the VIP parking was an additional charge per day, but the regular parking was not so bad anyway. The location is walking distance to lots, pier park area with shops and restaurants, plenty for our short stay. The view of the beach and ocean was great. We saw dolphins swimming each morning. The only time we needed to contact was when we had not received the check in instruction, however it was easy to contact their phone number and it was sent over immediately. Overall it was a very pleasant stay for our family.
My family of 5 loved this property. The balcony is spacious so we could all have sat out together and had plenty of room with enough tables, lounge chairs, etc. It extends around the corner and is one of the larger balconies since it is a corner unit. Unbeatable views! The master bathroom shower was awesome! It was large enough to fit a crowd and the caddy inside was appreciated to hold everyone’s shower items. The kitchen had everything we needed for a week’s stay and eating some meals in. There were small “starter packs” in the kitchen and bathrooms with shampoo, lotion, soap, dish soap, 2 dishwasher tabs, 2 washer tabs, dish sponge, 2 Keurig pods, one pack ground coffee, one coffee filter, 2 extra trash bags, and one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. That was HIGHLY appreciated! The space is comfortable and well decorated. We enjoyed a couple of nights in and appreciated the board games!Having the 2 beach chairs and umbrella included and a private parking spot was a major perk!!!Calypso resort itself is older but well maintained. The gym has all you need for weightlifting and cardio and I loved that, tiki bar kid friendly with frozen virgin drinks, 2 pools so less overcrowding, and elevator waits aren’t too terrible…but expect a wait. The only recommendation I would make to the property owners is to replace the mattresses in all rooms/the couch mattress. We all agreed they were not the most comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
Contract stated no parking fee since parking in owners reserved spot underneath the complex. However I ended up having to pay 60 for a spot I don’t use and owner was flippant in her response. Do not think you will get a free parking spot when renting as advertised this is false.
