We had a wonderful stay at North Lake Tahoe Alpine Retreat and couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our ski trip. Even when we were snowed in a couple of times, everything we needed was thoughtfully provided — including a shovel, broom, and ice scraper for the car, which made a big difference.The modern pellet stove added such cozy comfort after long days in the snow. The place is beautifully decorated, very clean, and fully stocked with everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen, great TV/entertainment setup, heaters in every room and bathroom, and plenty of space to relax.Being just a 5-minute drive to Alpine Meadows Ski Resort was incredibly convenient.Truly a fantastic retreat — comfortable, practical, and welcoming. What’s not to like? We’d happily stay here again!
