Below the apartment is Christmas Junction, a year round Christmas store.

We loved this property! It was a comfortable place to stay and was conveniently located near Oregon State. The town of Monroe is quaint with some fabulous places to eat! Oh, and make sure you check out the Christmas shop below the property.

When we arrived at the property it is clean and easy to get into with the pin pad. While it is an older building with historical value, it has been upkept and modernized. The stairs getting to the second story may be an issue for people with mobility issues. The location is great as there are multiple options for food and drinks within walking distance. As well as a convenience store across the street. The owner also operates the store on the first floor of the building, she was kind, helpful, and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay with recommendations and some great stories. When we need to stay again in this part of Oregon, this will be the first place to look into.

Super cute apartment! Christmas is my favorite time of year so getting to stay in an apartment decorated with the Christmas theme was amazing. The host was super kind and understanding with my son’s service dog. There’s a great restaurant by the convenient store that we walked to- We truly enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I are full time Hazelnut farmers just 3 miles away. ( If you would like to visit our 130 acre farm just let me know.) I also am the owner/operator of the year round Christmas store that is right below the apartment. Feel free to come down for free hot chocolate anytime I am open!

Why they chose this property

Monroe is a small rural town of just over 700 residents. Though small we have world class restaurants and wineries. Across the street is Broadley Winery and next to that is our Monroe Arts Center featuring our talented local artists. A block away either north or south are three amazing restaurants all within a short walking distance. There are numerous wineries, and a golf course within 15 minutes of Monroe.
This small town sits 33 minutes north of Eugene and 24 minutes south of Corvallis right on OR-99W. It also is an easy 21 minutes north of the Eugene airport.

What makes this property unique

The Cozy Christmas Apartment is the upper floor unit in a building registered with the Federal Historic Places. It was built in 1911 as Monroe State Bank. The apartment has 12 foot ceilings and large windows. It has a mixture of light Christmas decor ( to keep the spirit alive year round), modern conveniences and retro 1990’s touches.
