Relaxing and inspiring retreat

Wit's End is a wonderfully inspiring home, Nanci has filled it with lots of beautiful things and there are surprises at every turn. There is access via a stepped path to the lake, but you can also access it by a road if you cannot use the steps. We swam in the lake and enjoyed using the kayak; lovely little sandy beach, often empty. Our family of four had a relaxing stay. We had barbecues on the balcony but also ate out - the pub in Creemore is lovely. Lots of walking footpaths to explore, and there is a drawer full of maps and information leaflets which we made use of during our stay. Collingwood, Wasaga Beach and Barrie all within easy distance. Recommend you visit the beach at Craigleith - our favourite.

Peaceful,spacious well equipped house.

Our family, two adults and two teenagers (17 and 19) had a fantastic holiday in Nanci's lovely, peaceful and spacious house. It was well stocked and equipped with everything we could possibly need.We enjoyed our morning bike rides and the time spent relaxing in the hot tub in the trees at the bottom of the garden were special.Being a keen yoga participant I loved the yoga cabin in the garden, Nanci was very friendly and helpfully was there to welcome us with a meal on our first night. The property was well situated for exploring the region and we particularly enjoyed Blue Mountains (zip wire and open gondola great fun) and Wasaga Beach,Nearby Creamore was great for eating and we particularly enjoyed the pub where everyone was so friendly. We also visited Toronto,Niagara Falls and the children had a fantastic day at Canada Wonderland (theme park) near Toronto.Would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends and relatives.

Location, location, location...PERFECT.

Favorite memory - hot-tub by candle light with stars, moon & pine scent from surrounding trees - reminiscent of Algonquin Park. So peaceful & quiet - many days just chilled in situ. On the move, spoiled for choice exploring the many local attractions favorite of which - pretty, pretty, Creemore about 5 miles away where we could spoil ourselves with gourmet cuisine. Can't wait to return! DF/Paris.
