This is a wonderful pet friendly house close to the beach. It sits nestled off a quiet street with a pretty walk to the beach. Host was quick to answer any questions. We really enjoyed our stay

A great getaway! Island Girl is very peaceful and perfect for a family trip. My golden retriever lived her best life here and my one year old baby had a blast. The wrap-around porch is perfect. We had an amazing time! Renay is a fabulous host!

I love the “Island Girl” beach house. I love the privacy of the house, set back among the trees. I love the short walk via sand path & boardwalk to the beach. We had a great 5-night stay. It was our first time on St George Island, can’t wait to return!

A Beautiful, Peaceful Getaway – Highly Recommend!We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful vacation home! The house was exceptionally clean, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed, with plenty of room to relax and feel right at home. The secluded setting made it feel like our own private retreat, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.One of our favorite features was the short walk to the beach through a gorgeous wooded area. It was such a peaceful and scenic way to enjoy the surroundings! The resort pool was also beautiful and a wonderful bonus during our stay.The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with just about everything you could possibly need, which made our stay even more comfortable and convenient.The owner was fantastic to communicate with—friendly, responsive, and easy to reach whenever we had questions.Overall, this home offers the perfect combination of comfort, privacy, natural beauty, and convenience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

What a sweet little island home! We had the best week. The walk to the ocean was easy. It was always breezy outside. Everything was so clean and nice. We loved loved loved the outdoor shower. The pool closest to “island girl” on the plantation is also awesome!To help anyone who has never stayed in the wooded area of St. George, mosquito spray helps. The house came with some but we didn’t want to use it all! The house is so cozy and comfy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Island Girl! The beach home was very clean, charming and well appointed. The area was delightfully quiet. Situated above the trees there was only a limited view of the gulf, but it was just a short walk to the wonderful beach through a beautiful and magical trail. The bike trails were really nice and we rented bikes from Island Dog. They delivered them so we could explore Nick’s Hole and other areas in The Plantation on the bay side as well.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was clean, comfortable, and full of charm—such a unique and cute property, with plenty of shade that made it especially relaxing.Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, and it truly felt like a home away from home. One of our favorite parts was the short walk through a beautiful nature trail leading to the beach. The beach itself was peaceful, not crowded at all, and perfect for seashell hunting.We also really appreciated that the property is dog-friendly—it made the trip that much more enjoyable for us. The host was kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.No complaints whatsoever—we would absolutely stay here again and are already looking forward to returning in the future.
