Welcome to the Crank House and the 600 sq ft Crank Shop & Lounge - the place to stay and play for mountain bikers and their families. The spacious, modern decor with central A/C combines the comforts of home with indoor and outdoor recreational activities the entire family can enjoy, all while still being connected to work. Less than a 2 minute ride to the single track trails... life doesn’t get any better than this!
The open floor plan of the Crank House allows the group to stay connected by gathering around the kitchen island, playing games at the dining table with leather seating for eight, or just lounging on the spacious sectional. Meals are a breeze with full-size stainless steel appliances and a fully appointed kitchen. Duluth Coffee Company beans and a burr grinder make the perfect cup of Joe in the morning to get you going. The newly tiled walk-in shower in the master bathroom feels like a spa. The master bedroom offers a memory foam queen mattress for a restful night. The second bedroom has a pillow-top 14” queen mattress and the third bedroom has a full/twin bunk bed. Additional linens are provided to sleep on the sectional sofa. Central A/C makes for comfortable sleeping on warm nights. Walk-in closets in all bedrooms, as well as ample coat hooks in each entry way, offer plenty of storage space to stash your gear.
High speed Wifi and 27” monitors make remote work productive with an electric sit-stand desk in the master bedroom and another desk in the third bedroom. Essential office supplies are provided.
The Crank Shop & Lounge is an insulated/heated 600 sq. foot space that has something for everyone. For bikers, use the Park Tools bench repair stand, tools and bike pump to ready your bikes for the trails. At the end of the day, clean your bikes using the wash stations in the yard and then secure them inside in the 9-station bike rack. Rinse. Repeat.
The Crank Shop & Lounge also features a ping-pong table, a Tornado foosball table, and yard games (bean bag toss, ladder toss, croquet, bocce ball, etc.) to keep the entire group entertained, or just relax on the leather sofa with the beverage fridge close by. Stream music to the stereo or movies to the 60” smart TV using the extended WiFi. We also include 5 pairs of snowshoes for use during the winter.
The shaded front deck, with a patio table with bench seating, is perfect for eating outdoors. BBQ outdoors using either the gas grill or the Weber kettle grill (charcoal included). Gather around the fire pit (firewood and 8 outdoor chairs provided) in the backyard for an evening of s’more making.
The Crank House, Shop & Lounge is just a block from Crosby’s bustling main street, which offers restaurants, bars, antique shops, pickle ball, a bowling alley, a hardware store, and even a local historical museum within walking distance. Serpent Park, with a swimming beach, skate park and boat launch are just 3 blocks away.

What a great place! The house was clean well stocked and a super great set up. We really enjoyed the Garage rec room. It was a great place to store our bikes and just hang out. Also enjoy the walk ability and Bike ability of the location.

The Crank House has everything we needed and more for our stay in Minnesota. The house was clean upon arrival and well stocked with kitchen supplies. The central air was a huge bonus for the summer time heat. We loved the location and how close it was to all the local shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend the Crank House.
