Our 3 generation family of 8 found the check in process to be very smooth. Allen checked on us to make sure we were settling in and getting cozy. The kitchen is large and well stocked with cookware, utensils, dishes and flatware. The appliances were all super clean and great working order. The property is cleaned thoroughly between bookings so don’t expect cereals, oil, flour, etc left in the cupboards. The kitchen was low on glassware for our group but that was easily solved. And a smoke detector was chirping for a new battery when we arrived. A quick message to Allen about the battery and he ordered batteries and had them shipped to the house. We installed it ourselves (because it was easy to reach) but we were assured that someone would be dispatched to the house if it was too high. We liked the showers and the beds were comfy. Photos for the listing show it beautifully staged. All the good bones are there, plenty of seating at the generous dining room table, the living room, and the breakfast table. We found the location very convenient and liked the quiet neighborhood. Allen and his assistant, Andrea, helped make our week in Seattle more enjoyable.
