Really a hidden gem for this area. I grew up here and this log cabin felt like a destination! So peaceful with the privacy and horses grazing nearby. Absolutely no complaints we will be back next time we visit!
The amenities were in good condition, the house was exactly as described, they remembered to include all the things that could be needed for a comfortable visit. The Christmas decorations were lovely, and they really paid attention to the small details and making it feel like a welcoming space.
The cabin was super clean an exactly as described. The property was quiet and there was a horse farm nearby. There was one neighbor close by, but that was never a problem. We stayed with 6 adults and 2 dogs and there was plenty of space. We absolutely loved staying here and can’t wait to do it again!
Charming 2 bedroom cabin. Clean with great view of pastures and horses. Coffee on the deck each morning enjoying the view. Visited Turkey point lighthouse and historic Chesapeake City as well . Good location for that and close enough to university of delaware.
BEAUTIFUL cabin with plenty of space. Very clean! Quiet area and close to shopping and restaurants. Loved the outdoor deck and bbq area. Bathrooms: extras like travel shampoo, body wash are recommended in case they’re forgotten. Finding the entrance in the dark was a little tricky upon arrival. Host responded to questions more quickly closer to our stay. Highly recommend and already planning to book here again.
Everything was beautiful and Peacefull. Plenty of room for everyone. Kids were able to enjoy watching the horses and seeing wildlife. Spotted , deer , bunnies and a fox. We'd stay again. The down side, we didnt realize how many steps, we had a family member that needed a ramp for wheelchair. We made due.The only issue was the big tub down stairs could have used a once over.We would recommend to others.
We stayed for only one night, but we were comfortable and relaxed. Easy to find and had most of what we needed (missing soap and shampoo for instance). The location couldn’t be more peaceful, with horses nearby (no smell, though, if that’s a concern!) and a beautiful sunny outdoor patio. WiFi is good but phone service was spotty (not their fault of course). The bedroom situation is a little unusual- there are many places to sleep, but I’d say only one proper adult bedroom. The host was responsive and accommodating! Main critiques are all pretty minor & easily fixable: the tubs were not super clean, the TV is broken but functioning, and a few basic products were missing. We had a great stay and would definitely book again!
