This is our second time staying at the Whaler’s Cottage and we loved it both times. The house is clean, as listed, and easy to get to the beach/shops/restaurants. Would love to stay there again!
This was the perfect place for our family of 6 adults 3 children. Plenty of space for everyone, perfect location from beach and downtown. Host was very helpful and in constant communication. Would book again if ever lookingfor a place to stay with family in Cape May. Bathrooms were excellent and outdoor shower great for after the beach.
The house and its location were perfect. We were able to park our cars (driveway fit 4 of them) and not get back in them until we left — walking to Washington mall shops/restaurants/bars; biking to the beach; it was perfection! The house itself was incredibly clean - there is so much memorabilia decor and no dust on any of it …I was amazed. The house was well equipped and incredibly comfortable for a group of 8 adults. Scott was extremely responsive & helpful before and during our stay. It was such a lovely weekend at Whaler’s Cottage that many of the adults were mentioning wanting to rent the house again in the future! Highly recommend this space if you’re looking for a great stay in Cape May!
Great location. Property as advertised. Plenty of room for 6 of us. Annoying that we could not change the thermostat as it was too cold for us during the day. Kitchen was not quite as well equipped with smaller utensils as some others have been (e.g. grater, decently sharp knives, etc)And we couldn’t access Netflix or Amazon on their system. Otherwise completely fine.
Charming Cape May home was perfect for our “cousins” weekend. The house had everything our group of 6 needed and was so welcoming and warm. Communicating with the owner was easy and he kept us informed about some outdoor renovations underway (that had no impact on our stay). We would love to go back!
Great neighborhood great location had everything we needed for a great vacation. Weather could’ve been a little warmer but all in all was a great week.
Was our first visit to Cape May and the Whalers is in a great location. Easy walk to shops and the beach. Great park for the kids at the end of the block.
Lovely home, very clean and well-cared for. Had the basics for some light cooking and plenty of space for everyone. Great location on a quiet street, short walk to downtown and the beach.
Location was great for exploring Cape May (off season) - we parked our car when we arrived and didn’t need it again until we were leaving! Number of rooms & bathrooms worked well for our group. Open first floor made if easy to converse between kitchen, dining, and relaxing on the sofa.
Lovely house, met all our needs. We only stayed the weekend, but would be a great spot for a week-long stay with a fully stocked kitchen & washer dryer. Wish we’d had time for the bikes and an in-house meal. Quite clean & was more than spacious enough for 8 adults.
