House was in a great location and host was extremely responsive when communicated to. Rooftop deck and charming porch were fantastic amenities especially on a warm weekend.
Had an amazing time at The Sea Glass Cottage! Perfect location and the rooftop deck was fantastic. Great communication with property manager. Super easy check-in and out. Plenty of room for our group of 8. Sad it is over, made lots of great memories and can’t wait to do it again!
The cottage was adorable both inside and out! It was centrally located and an easy walking distance to everything. The rooftop deck was a bonus and only added to our enjoyment!
The Sea Glass Cottage was wonderful! Clean and just like the pictures, it was a great place for my family and I to spend a few days over spring break. The host was also very quick to respond with anything we needed. We only wish the weather had been warmer so we could have better used the outdoor space!
This house is in a perfect location. Just a short two block walk to the beach (and ramp), which made for easy toting of little kids and gear. Shops, restaurants and historical sites are also in close walking distance. And the house has all the amenities you'll need to make for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!
My family and I rented the cottage because I was getting married in Cape May that weekend and this house definitely contributed to my whole family having a week to remember!! The common living space is simply awesome and we had so much fun all together. The outdoor patio was also amazing with the grill, which was super easy to operate. It really felt like a beach house, which was perfect! Overall perfectly clean with great appliances. I would book it again in a heartbeat!

House space is great, but mattresses are horrible..if changed all would be fantastic.
The house was great. All the beds except master were in really poor condition and desperately need to be replaced. The house was walking distance to everything.

Great time at Sea Glass Cottage
We had a great time this week at Cape May - Sea Glass Cottage was perfect for our two families. The hubbies were only able to stay for the weekend, unfortunately, but the moms and kids got to enjoy a full week in the sun, enjoying the cottage and all that Cape May has to offer. It was a perfect destination for us with kids (two sets of 12 &15 year olds) who were safe to cruise around on bikes everywhere (Geared Up Rentals provided these as well as beach towels chairs and chairs for my friend who flew in). The food in town was excellent - Black Duck, 410 Bank Street, Panicos and Lucky Bones with and without kids all suited our group.
The cottage is ideally situated: easy walking or biking distance to the beach and area with restaurants and shops. Again, the kids especially enjoyed being able to take off on their own for this and we felt safe to let them do so - a very 'clean' beach town,
The Wilhelms have done a wonderful job decorating the cottage. It's cute, clean, and well-appointed. We'd definitely stay here again and encourage others to do the same! Thanks, Bonnie, for all your help!
The Sea Glass Cottage was the perfect spot to spend my 40th birthday weekend with friends. The adorable decor and rooftop deck were favorites of the space. It was a convenient spot for a short walk to the beach to enjoy the weather and into town for ice cream sandwiches at Peace Pie. Bonnie always answered my questions quickly - we're all looking forward to coming back (when our children and husbands get over us being away for 4 days!)
Thank you!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Glass Cottage. The property was just as described, clean and so close to the beach. We loved the huge kitchen table and the large deck off the kitchen. The owner was very helpful and prompt with any questions we had during our stay.
This house is just as advertised. It was spacious, clean, wonderfully decorated, and 2 blocks from the beach. We visited local attractions, enjoyed the beach and arcade, and ate at some great restaurants!
We spent the weekend in Cape May for the weekend & photos don’t do justice how cute this place looks. From the minute we walked in there was a beautiful welcome gift to the sheets ready on the bed. We really appreciated the items available for us to use and how easy it was to connect if we had any questions. It’s a block from the beach and easy walk to all the restaurants and shopping. We had so much fun and will highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love this house! There were four of us for a girls' weekend and there was plenty of space. The kitchen has everything you need. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the place was spotless. Three bathrooms is a definite plus! The roof-top deck is spectacular. We didn't spend much time up there because the weather was quite cold, but it was worth the trip up the steps to see the view. In nice weather, this would be a great place to hang out. The house is close to shops and restaurants. We went to a winery, which was just a short drive, and did lots of shopping. Overall, it was a great weekend.
We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of the 'off season' and it worked out really well for us. It was a short walk to the beach, so short that my two year old could make it. Everything else we drove to, but there was plenty of parking this time of the year.
The rooms in the house were nice - very spacious and the beds were comfortable, though there is no soundproofing whatsoever. That means when the first person gets up, everyone gets up. The kitchen had everything we needed, we really only ate breakfast in the house but we did cook dinner once on the stove. One warning, the stairs in this house are no joke. My mom has bad knees so we put her on the first floor which eliminated her having to climb the inside stairs, but I had to hold my breath every time my two year old went up the front steps, or the staircase inside, or the staircase to the rooftop deck. Very steep steps. The back patio was the best place to hang out, it was shaded most of the day and got a nice breeze.
Overall it was a very nice stay and we would stay here again.
Sea Glass cottage was a great place to gather for our family’s first reunion since the pandemic. Beds were comfortable (and plentiful!) and we especially appreciated the ample seating for meals both indoor and out. The roof deck is a lovely, quiet spot for morning coffee or evening cocktail. Bonnie was a gracious and responsive host that made renting here a pleasure. We’ll be back!
The house is perfectly located for a quick walk to the beach, Washington Mall for shopping and lots of great places to eat. Watched fireworks from the roof-top deck and front porch. Clean, spacious, well-stocked home with a very friendly and responsive host. Highly recommend this beautiful vacation home-away-from-home.
Perfect location- a very short 2 block walk to the beach and an easy stroll downtown to the shops and restaurants. Wonderful house. Loved the beach theme. Great porch. Outdoor shower was key when coming home from a day at the beach. The house had all of the amenities you could want. Host was ultra responsive with lots of info given ahead of time. We would love to come back.
We had an amazing stay for my best friend’s bachelorette party. The house easily fit 10 girls and everyone had a spot to sleep. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone staying in Cape May. I’ll definitely be back!
The location is amazing. The house was very comfortable. Our favorite part was the roomy back deck where our family gathered in the evenings to enjoy some cocktails. The owner was easy to work with and went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect.
We came for a girls weekend and were lucky enough that this house was available. It has an amazing location blocks from the beach and minutes from everything in town. Many places were within walking distance from the house. The house was very clean and the owners of the property were so easy to communicate with! The house was equipped with everything we needed to have a great weekend! Highly recommend!!

About the host
Hosted by Bonnie Wilhelm
We both grew up coming to the Jersey shore as kids! With 2 girls of our own it seemed like the perfect place to build new memories as a family. We all fell in love with the location of the house and all worked together to renovate the house! We really had a blast!
