This is a cozy apartment that is great for relaxing and is conveniently located near the town square. There are plenty of items in the kitchen to make meals. Washer/dryer available too.

Cute apartment!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We had a problem with the air conditioner, called the property manager and it was immediately addressed without any issues. The only negative would be the stairs leading to the second floor - there are a lot of them and they’re steep. Our daughter had some difficulty (she has arthritis) but otherwise it was a lovely place to stay.

My name is Theron Larkins. I’m originally from Houlton and currently manage three properties - all in my hometown. One is a duplex and the other is an apartment that is attached to our family home. Although it is completely separated from our house and we rarely get the chance to interact with our guests, usually because that’s how the guests prefer it, we do sometimes get to meet some great people from all over the world. We’ve been renting for over six years and we’ve had only one or two rentals that weren’t ideal. Other than that we’ve had a great experience renting people a place to stay when they visit Houlton.

Why they chose this property

Houlton is a somewhat small town with about 8,000 people in it - most of them are great and friendly people who are very welcoming to guests. Frankly, you probably won’t be recognized as a guest unless you told people. All three of our apartment units are within walking distance of downtown with lots of things to do.
