Amazing views in a super tranquil and secluded environment

We had a an amazing week in this house. Outstanding sunsets on Monte Cofano and great swimming in the coves along the coast. If you need a place to relax in a beautiful and secluded environment then we highly recommend this place :)

Wonderful location and warm welcome.

The site is superb for anyone wanting to relax in wonderful Sicilian scenery. It totally fulfils the expectations generated by the advertised details. Slightly lacking in facilities - no kettle, for example; but these are minor points.

This is a wonderful spot for a family in summertime. The house is big enough for 4 and well equipped. The beach is very handy and the view is spectacular. Marcello. your host, is super helpful and speaks fluent English. I was unlucky with the weather as it was rainy and cold. While the house has heating, I didn’t know it was not included in the price. In an effort to stay within my budget I remained uncomfortably cold. Also the ‘hot water’ was only lukewarm. E40 cleaning fee was also added. I was disappointed in these extra charges. If you’re ok with these extra charges, I highly recommend Villa Makda.

Bonnie is a wonderful person and an excellent host. I'm sorry you didn't understand that cleaning, sheets, and heat pumps/air conditioning are extra, so they're clearly marked on Villa Makda's profile. I also called Vrbo, who confirmed that the extras are clearly visible and not included in the rental fee.

Un petit coin de paradis en pleine nature et à l'écart des foules que l'on peut trouver dans certaines régions de Sicile. Une petite bâtisse de charme dotée d'une vue à couper le souffle. Un hôte tout-à-la fois discret et disponible. Bref, les ingrédients parfaits pour des vacances réussies!

Ein herrlich abgelegener Ort zum Seele baumeln lassen mit super Blick auf das Meer. Unser Gastgeber hat uns mit selbst gepeßtem Olivenöl und einer Flasche Prosecco überrascht. Das Ein- und Auschecken verlief völlig unkompliziert . Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gepflegt, Geschirr ausreichend vorhanden und da ein Gasherd mit vier Kochstellen vorhanden ist, lässt es sich auch gut kochen. Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub und haben die Zeit genossen !

Prachtige locatie met veel privacy. Het betreft een authentiek huis met mooie sicilische kenmerken zoals de keramieke vloeren. De keuken is niet heel modern maar dat zou daar ook niet passen. Vanaf de veranda kijk je uit op de bergen en de zee, je voelt dat je midden in de natuur zit. De heerlijke buitendouche met warm water is echt een plus.

Ein traumhafter Blick aufs Meer mit beeindruckender Kulisse des Monte Cofano...von der Terrasse eines charmant eingerichteten alten Steinhauses. Alles ist vorhanden zum Kochen, wlan, etc. Es ist sehr ruhig und privat, inmitten der Natur. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Auto ist empfehlenswert...wir kommen wieder...

Paradies - ich möchte sofort wieder dorthin

Ein wunderschöner Ort, etwas abgelegen und deshalb ideal für alle diejenigen, die Ruhe und ein bisschen Zurückgezogenheit brauchen. Für uns war dieser Ort ideal, wir sind zufrieden, erholt und nur mit schwerem Herzen wieder nach Hause gefahren. Die Außendusche war ein großes Vergnügen und Luxus pur auf einfache Weise. Marcello und Makta sind gastfreundlich und herzlich, das Meer ein Traum - und für den Blick von der Terrasse habe ich gar keine Worte. Auch unsere Teenager-Kinder saßen glücklich hier, haben gelesen und das Handy auch mal zur Seite gelegt. Danke für diesen schönen Ort!

Traumhäuschen mit Traumausblick!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Marcello kleinem Häuschen. Die Terrasse ist der Wahnsinn, das Häuschen hat alles, was man braucht, von Liegestühlen über Sonnenschirm für den Strand bis zu einer Waschmaschine. Auch die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Marcello war sehr freundlich und hat uns frisch gepresstes Olivenöl und Frizzante zur Begrüßung gebracht! Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und abgeschieden, aber man fühlt sich absolut sicher. San Vito Lo Capo ist in 10 Minuten zu erreichen, viele andere kleine Orte auch. Direkt unten am Meer gibt es einen schönen Strand und man kann quasi zu Fuß in den Cofano Naturpark gehen. Wir waren absolut begeistert!

Ruhe und Weitblick

Drei Wochen Aufenthalt im Haus: Eidechsen beobachtet, Olivenbäume betrachtet, das Meer in unterschiedlichen Farbtönen und Stimmungen wahrgenommen, den Monte Cofano geliebt und um- und erwandert, kitschige Sonnenuntergänge fotografiert, ansonsten viel gekocht und gegessen, (das Olivenöl von Marcello und seiner Frau war besonders köstlich), viel gelesen und entdeckt, nur ungern nach Hause gefahren. Vielen Dank!

Il luogo più lontano da tutto ciò che odio (caos, folla, rumore, altoparlanti, musiche e musichette ovunque, gelatini, pizzette, bambini urlanti...). Lucertole per amiche.
