We stayed here for the Ryder Cup. Roger was great with communication and the property was perfect for our needs. Easy access to the airport and to Bethpage. We enjoyed our stay.

Conveniently located near a subway line, which made it easy to get into Manhattan. Loved the upstairs outdoor space. Relatively quiet neighborhood. Bedroom and bathrooms were spacious.

Spring in New York

The property is great, i especially likes the floor plan and outside patios. With the weather we are having the outdoor patios were great. The price is beyond reasonable too.

The placed smelled like smoke and unwashed sheets which I assume was due to the heap of laundry stuffed behind a room divider. Stained pillows. Surfaces unclean. Listing says sleeps 6 but not sure how that’s possible. Layer of grime generally covering everything. Washer/dryer in basement, not in unit.

Deck Sold Us

Easy to find the key at the top of the stairs. Directions were clear. Can tell the folks are young. Dishwasher was still full, cleaning supplies left out. Happy we brought our slippers. Door handle to living room balcony was broken, not a big deal as the upstairs had a pretty sweet deck. Bed was comfortable, but the sheets didn't fit. We had to pull them back every few hours. NO TOWELS. I'm a Brooklyn native, so was happy to bother my mom for linens. The wellness alarm woke us up from downstairs. Figured might as well do some yoga. Overall, decent stay considering. Hope hosts enjoyed the ice cream sandwiches. Next time, I'll stick to Flatbush. Very close to subway, LIRR, and freeway. Laundry close by as well.

Cleanliness was a huge issue. Stovetop was dirty, Bar stools are ripped and rusting. Couch was in very bad condition stained and falling apart. Door to Balcony from living area was missing a handle. No additional toilet paper was available. Sheets on bed was soiled and the bed was not made. Owner should have stated that it was a 4 floor walk-up in the advertisement. I have mobility issues and wasn’t aware until after booking.The apartment is very nice, it needs to be maintained for guests.Will not return.

Comienzo por el principio, nuestro check in estaba pautado para las 4pm y Roger nos permitió hacerlo a las 12md, agradecidos por eso, llegamos al apartamento y casi ni lo exploramos. Luego de nuestro primer día por NYC, al llegar al alojamiento, nos percatamos de que el lugar no estaba limpio al 100% (mesas, lámpara y sofá-cama con polvo), había un calcetín usado tirado en uno de los baños, los aires no logramos encenderlos y la ropa de cama manchada. Nos comunicamos a eso de las 9:20pm por Vrbo, txt y llamada telefónica, hubo respuesta luego de algunas llamadas. Quién respondió fue su compañera, le expresamos y explicamos la situación, ella dijo que ese calcetín era de nosotros y que lo habíamos colocado allí y nos expresó que era una falta de respeto estar llamado a esas horas de la noche, sin embargo, en el listado de instrucciones de Roger, él menciona que nos comuniquemos en cualquier momento. Ella se alteró y terminó la llamada. Luego el host se comunicó a través de Vrbo y me expresó que mi reservación fue solo para 1 persona, cuando verifico efectivamente, parece que había cometido un error. Sin embargo, él tenía conocimiento desde antes de la reservación que éramos 5, incluso, el día antes me preguntó cuántos éramos.La ubicación es buena, queda cerca del Metro. La limpieza del edificio en general, es algo pobre. Hay que ir con equipaje ligero, pues es un 4to piso y son muchos escalones.
