Professionally decorated elevated beach house with hardwood floors throughout the main floor and light beige berber carpet throughout the second floor. This home is equipped with four (4) smart flat screen TV's and YouTubeTV is provided. TONS OF CHANNELS! One block back from the ocean makes for an easy walk to the beach and to all the IOP amenities.... restaurants, shopping, ice cream stands, bike rentals and Windjammer Club. The private salt water pool is equipped with lounge chairs and tables, pool floats, fenced pool area, outdoor hot shower, ping pong table, gas grill and more. The Master bedroom has a Queen size bed and has its own sitting room with sofa and TV. Portable pack and play available. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING. PLEASE DOWNLOAD OUR RENTAL CONTRACT/AGREEMENT BEFORE BOOKING.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
A copy of valid identification must be emailed to the owner within 5 days of booking. Must review requirements within attached rental agreement.
Quiet hours/noise ordinance is from 10:00pm to 7:00am
The owners do have an onsite manager, and if they feel an inspection is warranted, they may do so.

Summer trip

Great home! The house was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes, and cookware that made cooking for the family easy and convenient. The walk to the beach was as described; less than 2 blocks to an uncrowded part of the beach. The pool was large with plenty of chairs and shade. Overall one of the best places we have stayed.

Fall getaway

Beautiful time of year to visit, less crowds and plenty of beach. Home is in a great location, we rented a golf cart and it got us anywhere we needed to go. Close to downtown Charleston and we will definitely return.

We had the best week on IOP. This house is even better in person. Fully stocked with anything you need. We had 4 adults and 4 kids with plenty of room. The beach is a very short walk. Great area for biking the neighborhood, beach or even to Sullivan’s Island. The screen in deck and pool are an extra bonus. Groceries and restaurants close by. Easy drive to Charleston.

Ideal in Isle of Palms

It was the perfect spot for our group—comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and local shops. Short drive over to Sullivan's Island as well. Check-in & check-out were simple and hassle-free, with a coded box providing easy access to the key. The home itself was clean which made for a relaxing stay. Plenty of parking. Would book again!

Wonderful stsy

We had a great stay. It’s a warm, well-loved home. The location is great, kitchen stocked, plenty of room to spread out in the house with our family of 6. We would definitely come back for another trip.

Great place.

Great place. The pool is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Only a 200 or so yard walk to the beach and the house came equipped with everything for a beach trip (wagon chairs sand toys etc).

Mini Vacation

The house and location was exactly what we were looking for. Our family of seven was in town for a weddiing and decided to stay here instead of a hotel. We extended our stay to enjoy the beach for a few days. It was a great experience from the start to the end.

Great stay at the beach!

The home was in a great location and accurately represented online. The back porch was where we spent all of our time! Incredibly wel-stocked, we felt like we were home. Super short walk to the beach. Centrally located and easy to get anywhere!

Unbeatable location

This lovely well appointed beach house is a wonderful place for easy access to the beach, a short drive into Charleston and other points of interests. Every detail was thought through...full stocked kitchen with the essentials, beach gear, multiple levels to spread out, private pool, screened in porch and the southern hospitality by the hosts was above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Very nice beach house in a great location

This house is in a quiet neighborhood and is a quick walk to the beach. The owners have thought of everything and it has all of the conveniences you could ask for. The lined pool is large and partially shaded and the screened porch is wonderful! Any questions we asked were answered in minutes. Great property!

We had a great time, despite the chilly weather. House is exceptionally well stocked with everything you need to cook, play and hang out. There is a basketball hoop and ping pong table for those beach breaks. A short walk to the beach and a quick drive or walk to the Main area. Highly recommend!

Such a wonderful home for a beach getaway!

Beautiful home, perfect location (2 min walk to the beach!), great layout for getaway with extended family and young kids. Our boys (ages 3 and 6) loved the bunk beds. The master bedroom sitting room was a lovely surprise! The home was even better in person than in the photos - high quality furniture and newly renovated bathrooms. We loved that there were so many beach/pool items in the garage. Would definitely rent here again!

House was perfect for a friends getaway to the Charleston area. Wonderful location near the beach and such a walkable neighborhood. Listen to the beach waves from the front porch. Location is near Sullivan's Island and drivable to Charleston. Comfortable home, kitchen was well stocked, pool was inviting but too cold to go in, and loved the dining room table - perfect for eating in. We'll be back - you will enjoy walking the beach and viewing all the beauty in the area. Wonderful house!

Beach house haven

This cozy but comfortable 3rd row home made for a great beach house haven for our extended family. There was plenty of living/sleeping space for 9 adults (two with an infant), all coming from different locales to meet at the beach. With a very nice swimming pool and 3 stories to hang out on, it was hard to leave to go to the beach or down the way to the main shopping area of Iske of Palms. But the beach was just a short walk, easily accessible and not crowddd at all. With all the amenities to keep us comfortable, we were all free to relax into a stree free vacation.

Fourth time in that house...

We always like to come back to this place. It is really well located 2 blocks from the beach and easy access to Charleston. Once you are there, it feels a little like home, the kitchen is really well equipped and you can prepare/cook/bake anything you like with equipment/utensils. Comfortable armchairs and sofas all around the house to relax. The only downside would be if you go there with a party of 10, it sleeps 10, but there are only 8 chairs around the table :-(

IOP birthday week

This house was perfect for a week visit to Charleston with my family and friends over my birthday. It is beautifully decorated, very well appointed and so close to the beach, without being right on it. You can still hear the ocean as you drift off to sleep. The front porch is perfect for having breakfast, and although it was too cold to use the new screened in porch, it looked very inviting - perfect for a spring or summer evening. I rented this house once before for Christmas and plan on renting it again!

Great start to the summer

This location was perfect for us! We took a family trip and decided to stay on a South Carolina beach. IOP was a great choice and we couldn’t have gotten a better house. The setup worked great for our family. The host was extremely responsive and everything was in order. We have stayed at a lot of properties that were managed by large companies and we loved how this had a much more personal feel. There was coffee pods provided, lots of toilet paper, some garbage bags etc. we stay at a lot of rentals so we are used to providing our own but it was such a nice touch.

Perfect House and Location

Our stay at this house was absolutely wonderful. The home was clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed for our getaway. We enjoyed the pool, perfect for lounging and enjoying the sunshine. Having the close beach access was great! We loved being able to take a short walk and find ourselves right on the sand with stunning ocean views and tranquil surroundings. The combination of a private pool and the beach just steps away made this place truly special. The host was also incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. This home offered the perfect balance of comfort, luxury and convenience. We cannot wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Charleston and the Isle of Palms.

Wonderful Home

Our group of 4 adults and 3 teens/preteens had a wonderful stay at Nancy's home. Upon arrival everything was very clean and the house was well appointed. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to stay in and cook for nearly every meal. We did have dinner out one night, and there are a wide variety of restaurants nearby. The pool was lovely and we appreciated having toys and floats (and a pump) to enjoy. There were also a variety of beach chairs, coolers, beach toys, and a wagon to use. The walk to the beach was quick and easy - even my 73 yr old mother, who has vision and knee issues, made it with no complaints. Nancy, thank you for allowing us to share your lovely home, and we look forward to returning to see what's new after your renovation!
