We rented this property for a long weekend with 6 of our grandkids ranging in age from 2 months to 8 years old, along with 4 adult children. Everything was amazing. The location was perfect, close enough to the lake, but still away from life. Wildlife was in the yard almost all of the time, which the 3 year olds loved watching. The pool was amazing, the house is better than the pictures. Tons of space to have alone time, everyone had their own rooms. The kitchen was beyond stocked with everything anyone could ever need. We would 100% stay again. Asya the host was amazing offering tips and local hot spots. She was available and gracious to every question or need. I can’t think of one complaint or concern. 5 stars is not enough.

We live in the hustle and bustle of the DC area and our cabin in Oakland is our happy paradise.

Why they chose this property

The peace and quiet, the magnificent night sky, the morning coffee from the back porch overlooking the mountains, the beautiful hikes and waterfalls, and the local Amish food make this paradise for us.

What makes this property unique

It is a huge property on 6 acres of land (more than 4 of these acres are wooded), with a heated extremely private pool and a hot tub. No neighbors in sight, yet close enough to help us plow the driveway and maintain the pool and hot tub :)
