Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Other than difficulty getting in because of a defective lock (they came and replaced it right away!), it was perfect. It was quaint and well located in walking distance to most stuff.Though, it could have been better appointed with coffee and other basics.

The Storybook Stay did the job... The best part of this house is the location, we were walking distance to lost of cute coffee shops, stores, and restaurants. As far as the house itself, there is room for improvement. The suite upstairs is very spacious and the bed was comfy. However, this is the only part of the house that felt roomy. Downstains the couch is quite small and it feels like there is no room to just hangout. The second bedroom is small and you could hear people breathing from the living room. The "walls" are not soundproof. The patio was nice, however, the furniture is in need of a major upgrade. For the cost of this house, I would expect it to be better. Additionally, the seal to the front door is falling off and the door is very hard to shut and the blender does not work. The communication was very thorough and I appreciated the clear instructions. We did enjoy our stay overall but the vrbo house is in need of upgrades!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental location was perfect and had free parking, which is a plus in Savannah. The rental is very historic, does need work, especially the furniture which is not conducive to relaxing after a day out. The downstairs claw foot tub is very difficult to access because it is raised on a platform and there are not grab bars. For anyone with any kind of limitations it does not work. Upstairs bedroom as pictured, bathroom and shower much easier to use.. All appliances in good working order, it was clean, and beds were comfortable. Air conditioning available, and additional window unit upstairs.Plenty of towels, having a washer and dryer a plus. Management company very quick to respond to door lock issues and television issues. With a few updates, it would be great.

This place was located near downtown, close to many places by walking. It has a loft with king bed and bathroom and on the first floor a second bedroom and bath off of the kitchen. Parking on the street was easy and never a problem with space. Probably the most unusual and intriguing aspect of this apartment is the large collection of quality books on multiple shelves. "Wow, they even have this one" was a common refrain as we looked them over and did some reading during our stay. If I could make a suggestion--the couch and chair in the living area need an upgrade. Otherwise, this house was perfect for our stay in Savannah

I want to give this property 5 stars but cannot because there is not a single, comfortable place to sit. Living room furniture is lumpy and extremely uncomfortable making it impossible to relax. The patio space is amazing and would be a great place to unwind, but the chairs are not conducive to relaxing, its only function would be outside dining for 2.The house and location are wonderful! We would happily return many times if furniture was replaced.

Great little place!

Most times with these rentals the brochure doesn’t match the experience however, this little place was exactly as advertised. Fully equipped, wonderfully appointed with antique furnishings and an awesome king bed. Only drawback was the second bed on the first floor was very small, other than that this place is wonderful! Lovely property

The pictures match the property perfectly. Beautiful, cozy and cool accents throughout the property. Nice touches throughout and in the back sitting area. The location was perfect and in a safe neighborhood. Walking distance to many fun attractions. Only complaint is there were 4 dead cockroaches and 2 live ones. Please note we are very clean so they were not a result of us. Most likely they are part of the charm in the area. Overall wonderful property.

The house was great, loved everything about it. However, the property management company called every day the week of the stay and I got multiple emails every day. It was rather annoying.

Enjoyed our stay. The home is a little off the beaten path. I would recommend at least getting a Roku stick for guests to log into their own tv apps. The antenna didn’t pick up Chanel’s well enough to even watch. The home is definitely not small child safe or even small dog safe. The slats on the railing upstairs would easily allow a small child to fall through. The steps would also allow a small child to slip through the sides. The upper deck is definitely not safe for a child! The boards are so far apart that it is a hazard. The home is old and musty but it was clean.
