Thanks Hannah.
I needed that.
Someone gave me only 2-stars b/c they didn't like my new "purple" bed mattress.
Your review makes me feel much better :)

This is a very comfortable place to stay. I loved the boating experiences that were offered at this lovely property. The attentive crew of folks available to meet any need was apparent throughout our visit.
Was wonderful overall but description said unit has Air Conditioning and it does not. Was told listing would be corrected. It is Colorado so it was only needed briefly

Thanks for your review.
Actually we have never listed A/C and it's because we aren't just in Colo., but we are at 8400' of altitude. The day you called it was 64 degrees out. But, I did call & check the VRBO system and they confirmed they had left A/C blank when they changed their amenities dashboard and that no one ever listed A/C affirmatively. They did admit it was left blank and they checked it as not having A/C for me for future Inquiries.
I hope that helps with your concerns. We really aim to please. Tracee/owner

The cabin we were placed in, Annie’s cabin, was right next to a noisy, busy road (US34), vs being located close to the lake or river. The ceiling height was just barely over my head (6’1”). Only one window had a screen, so in order to get any airflow we had to open the windows, allowing mosquitos and other insects inside. Therefore the nights were hot and stuffy. Also the mattresses were very soft and warn, making for uncomfortable sleeping. On a positive note, the small river was beautiful, if we were to return I would book one of the three newer cabins by the river. We left a day early due to uncomfortable beds.

I am so sorry, Richard. Most people love our beds. But I can see you are a big guy. Yes, you probably would have liked one of the bigger cabins, river front. Of course, they cost twice as much.
As for the road. it is 2 lane and has almost no traffic at night. Most people say they don't even notice it. But, I appreciate you highlighting that, as I warn people booking that while it is the least expensive cabin--yet has all the luxury amenities like canoes and kayaks and firewood for free-it is closest to the road. Thank you for your review. Tracee/owner

We were in Anne's Cabin and it was very clean & cute, but we left a day early because the bed was so uncomfortable. My husband & I got maybe 2 hrs of sleep the first night because it was so hot (even with opening the one screened window in the bathroom) & the memory foam bed was horrible. There is no counter space in the bathroom with the oversized vessel sink that is there. Would be better to have a smaller sink. The river is very nice to sit by. Would have enjoyed to have bushes and weeds cleared to make a path to get there, because it is all overgrown. The campfire was the highlight of our stay. There was a stack of nicely chopped firewood to use, but we could not find a lighter anywhere, so we had to go buy some matches. We enjoyed seeing a couple deer walk right through the property. We also loved having access to the canoes nearby. Wish we could have enjoyed the 2nd night that we booked, but we just couldn't deal with that bed again.

Thank you for visiting. I am so sorry you didn't like the bed. I sure wish you would have said something. We generally get great reviews about our beds. Did you try they second bed? Wow, I sure wish you had told us--I could have even upgraded you to a river side cabin.
I must admit I have never gotten a 2-star review--this will knock me off Premier status--while being told everything was clean and my guests loved the fire pits and the wood was stacked and deer even came to visit. Maybe because the sink is super lovely and you wanted a smaller one? The grass is mowed every few days. BUT...the Moose and Deer need the higher river front grass to survive the winter. We have regulations about cutting grasses and willows exactly along the river. But this is a Private Fishing Ranch. People approach the river and walk into it and fish daily.
Wow!!! A 2-star review over the sink and the bed--which everyone else likes. There are two beds. Very different. How much does your husband weigh? Maybe he needed a springs bed. We have those in many of our units, but our guests have been loving the "Purple" mattresses. Oh...and the temperature. We are at 8400' (3000) meters. it was 64 that day and 48 that night. We advise that we don't have A/C. No one up here does. It's never hot up here :)
