About this property

Fish Tale Cabin at Toddy Pond - water fun, close coastal towns/parks and more!

This property boasts stunning views, floating dock and small beach - perfect for swimming, kayaking and loon watching. The home sits on frontage land of a pristine cove of Toddy Pond - a beautiful, peaceful and natural setting. A firepit, lobster pot, grill, outdoor screenhouse, dock and free use of kayaks, canoes(complete with paddles and life jackets) provide an ideal setting for relaxation and entertaining. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Belfast and other coastal/historic sightseeing destinations are a short drive.

This open concept cabin features two bunk beds for six, a full kitchen, full bathroom, and private screened-in porch, a true camp life experience. The bunkhouse design doesn't offer much individual privacy but instead it is more of a cozy slumber party feel. The bunkbeds can be separated by curtains from the rest of the cabin. Beautiful property! Stayed here with my 80 year old mom, 3 kids and a dog. Bunkhouse had everything we needed. The whole property is very well maintained and clean. The screened in porch was perfect for evening relaxation. The location right on the lake was exactly what we were looking for. Sunrise and sunset kayaking was absolutely heavenly. We saw family of Loons and Heron fishing by the shore. Highly recommend!

Peaceful and quite!

Stayed with my husband and kids and had an amazing time. The bunkhouse was exactly as described. Comfortable beds and the window air conditioner were a nice surprise. The rocky swim area, kayaks, and s'mores while sitting by the fire provided the perfect place to unwind and make amazing memories with kids. 100% will return!

Bunkhouse needs major work but would be ok for group of men. The kayaks were good, the guy in the house next to the water acted like everything was his. Someone put meat in the fire pit that attracted a large group of yellow jackets. The nest should be located and got rid of would not recommend this place if you have small kids if the bees are still there. A lot of the silverware has rust spots on them and the bathroom smelled horrible like sewage. The area overall was nice and calming staying next to a lake.
