About the host
Hosted by Jamie

Though we've lived in many places, Vermont has always felt like home. For the past 13 years, our cherished farmhouse in Fayston + historic 1850 barn have been the heart of our family life and a place full of special memories. We're passionate Mad River Glen skiers, and when the snow melts, you’ll find us off exploring - whether traveling, boating, or hiking with our dog, Duke.
Why they chose this property
Fayston truly offers the best location in the Mad River Valley! It’s an easy drive to the local ski resorts and towns like Waitsfield, Warren, Waterbury + Stowe. North Fayston Road is paved right up to the house—a bonus during mud season. You’ll also find direct access to the VAST trail, Burnt Rock, Boyce Pond, and the Icelandic Horse Farm!
What makes this property unique
The witches window. According to Vermont folklore, so-called "witch windows" are tilted 45 degrees so that witches cannot fly through them into the house!
The 1850 Barn is a one-of-a-kind space. The upper level still serves its original purpose, housing our farming equipment. Meanwhile, the lower level has been beautifully restored and transformed into a super fun entertainment area.
Fresh Vermont spring water from our private well—it is unbelievably delicious!
