Modern Cottage with Peeks of Ocean Views
Enjoy the salty air and the sounds of fog horns and waves. The patio, with a fire pit set into natural rock, is nestled under a giant oak, surrounded by string lights and perennials. Unwind in the infrared sauna or air bubble tub. Just a minute's walk to Pond Cove, and across the street, over 300 acres of top mountain biking and hiking trails. A mile along the walking path leads to Portland Head Light. In this peaceful neighborhood, please respect the tranquility—no parties or events. This property was rebuilt from a cozy 1950's ranch, on the same footprint in 2015. The entire home is accessible to guests. As local owners, we’re happy to respect your privacy and let you explore at your own pace or assist you with any questions you may have. This quaint home is the last house on Shore Road with deeded access rights to the ocean, in the Pond Cove neighborhood. Just a few minutes stroll down a wooded path, up a little rocky knoll, and the view opens up 180 degrees. Not only do you have access to Pond Cove, but the ocean at the end of the street as well. Enjoy exploring and sea-glass hunting for hours. The house has parking for three cars in the driveway. Disinfectant is used to clean the property. High-touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected Sheets and towels are washed at 60°C/140°F or hotter We follow regional cleaning and disinfection practices of COVID-19 Health & Safety Standards and industry cleaning and disinfection practices of COVID-19 Guidelines (CDC).
