We had a wonderful stay and loved the views and the close proximity to everything. Mat is a great host and responsive to any questions or things to do while visiting. Would stay again.

Beautiful view across the street from water, especially sunrises. Nautical theme is perfect, and the outdoor fire pit is a great place to enjoy the sunset. Older house, but the amenities have everything, and the place is very well stocked. Would recommend staying here for sure.

Checkin was super easy. Amazing location. We weren’t interested in the city scene, but plenty of outdoor adventures nearby. Mat was an excellent host. Cleanliness was not great (cob webs, dog fur, dust, dirt and debris in the corners). Mat came to clean himself when we first got there to try to make it right. If he’s paying a cleaning company, he needs to find a new one! Appliances were okay, but not all fully functional (toaster and stovetop).

Hi Mary, Thank you for the review and being great guests. I just want to apologize again for the issues you experienced. We have since hired a new cleaner who has been getting positive feedback. Additionally, the items you mentioned have been acknowledged, replaced and/or fixed. This winter we plan to do a full overhaul of much of the furniture, some appliances and remodel the bathroom. I really appreciate you giving me the opportunity to try to make it right and am happy to know you enjoyed your visit for the most part.

The unit was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen have everything one would need to make meals. The bed was very comfortable. It was easy to get to downtown Portland. The view out the front window of Casco Bay was amazing! The host was great, he respond to quickly to all our messages. We want to return for a longer stay

Great stay overall, just didn’t feel super clean like there was a lot of dust and the bathroom wasn’t super clean. It just felt surface level cleaned.

Family Vacation

This home was clean, well stocked, and centrally located. Perfect place to stay to enjoy a few days in the Portland area. Having the bay right across the road was a nice bonus.
