Escape to this delightful DoubleView Cottage in Gulf Shores. Situated in front of the undeveloped part of the bay, enjoy serene rear views from the deck in back (Mobile Bay) or the beautiful front deck's Gulf View. A five-minute walk to the sugar sand beach over the dunes. Earlyrisers can see the protected local wildlife: red foxes and bunny rabbits who live there. Enjoy crabbing, and fish charters (we can arrange it) or buy some oysters to BBQ at the house. Plenty of parking to bring your own seagoing boat, no limit in length.. the boat landing is only two miles away. Take the Ferry across to Louisiana or visit civil war Fort Morgan. Restaurants within 1 mile. With 3 cozy bedrooms each featuring a queen bed, one with two queens, 2 sparkling bathrooms with all the essentials, and convenient amenities like WiFi and a washing machine, this charming retreat is perfect for guests seeking a relaxing getaway. Our guests love the Bluetooth Klipsch speakers or Bang and Olufsun speakers in the master. Showers on ground level to clean up, a BBQ and fish cleaning station and park bench and tables for cooking and eating fresh caught crabs and oysters. We hope you enjoy what our place and Gulf Shores has to offer.

Very clean and relaxing for family vacation! Wagon available at the house helped with the short walk to the beach. The beach never felt crowded, area felt very safe. We hope to visit again!

We cooked several dinners in the kitchen and enjoyed family style meals at the dining room table. Sitting on the front porch after making fresh coffee in the stocked kitchen while watching the dolphins and sunsets was amazing! I loved they had everything I needed in the kitchen to feel at home.

Very nice stay. House was exactly as advertised. Short walk to the beach with plenty of parking u see the house. Kitchen was very well equipped to cook meals at home!

Overall it was a wonderful stay. We did need to reach out for information but received prompt replies. Limited supplies so bring sheet pans, trash bags, toilet paper, etc if you’re going with a larger group. Or planning on cooking meals for your family. There was trash under master bed/not swept but overall the home felt clean. It was convenient to Gulf Shores but quiet & the beach was great.

We had a great family vacation here. Loved the chairs on the deck- we used those multiple times a day. The price was right and the space was exactly what we needed. The cupboard of games was a nice touch- the kids played Guess Who everyday. It was an easy walk to the beach and we felt comfortable with the kids going back to the house on their own if we wanted more time on the beach. We loved being able to sleep in and go to the beach when we wanted to- the beach feels very private and there aren’t many people there. Crab hunting was a blast for the kids- they caught some big blue crabs big enough to eat! The appliances are nice- which is important for families who plan to have most meals there. Nice microwave, stove/oven, fridge and washer/dryer. There are enough laundry pods to do a few loads, which was nice. There’s an outdoor shower and hose to rinse off after being at the beach.We had a couple issues while there but the host was very communicative and willing to solve them. He even ordered a brand new grill for us when I mentioned the one there had a hole in it. Mosquitos were terrible- this will be weather and season dependent but bring bug spray in case. The bottom level with grill and picnic table is a nice touch but we couldn’t use it during our time there due to mosquitos.Overall we had a very enjoyable vacation. It was relaxing and what we needed!

This beach house was great for our family. The descriptions and pictures were accurate. The host was very quick to respond to our question. The walk to the beach was not long once we figured out the best route. There are a few furniture items that are getting worn, like the dining table and chairs and couch. The beds were very soft and comfortable! Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to others.
