Welcome to the Bear Den at Million Dollar View!

The Bear Den is a studio unit in the lower level of the property with a private entrance, fire pit, patio, parking. and every other amenity.

While both units are unique, I love the Bear Den! All the same views, a wood burning fireplace, plus it's quaintness is just unique and charming.

If you want a full cooking, gourmet experience, this is NOT it! Otherwise we have all the basic cooking and wine essentials to make memories...!

We thought that the Bear Den was very cozy and had an amazing view of the mountains, which is what we looked forward to the most. The fire pit outside and the fireplace inside were perfect for the cold nights. The place was clean and offered basic amenities. Unfortunately, there is clearly a rodent problem. The first night, we were woken up by something crawling on us in the bed. My husband said it scratched his face and it was in my hair. This was after we heard what sounded like something crawling in the ceiling, walls, and across the floor, and again on the following nights. The second day, we found mouse/rat droppings on the bathroom floor. That was unsettling, but the owner did reply when I messaged him after the first night and said they will look into this problem. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay, so I still give it 5 stars. Personally, I don’t think I could stay again due to being woken up so much by the sounds of critters moving in the walls/ceilings while trying to sleep. I understand that everything is trying to find warmth this time of year though and problems like that may be a little more difficult to manage.
