Magical is how our guests most describe their experience with us. You'll discover just why we are an all 5 star review property. Giant Granddaddy Oaks draped in moss, and the lush full gardens of our estate. You'll feel welcomed to seclusion, paradise, and more. Near to restaurants, bars, shopping, and entertainment, yet still isolated from the bustle of life. Relax by the pool, or soak away your worries in our hot tub. And then there's Sox the cat, and Spike, our St. Berdoodle pup as well as the "BokBok Girls -- our small flock or free range chickens!
The Space: Set on some acres, as are the neighboring homes, this is an upscale neighborhood, quiet, safe, with multi million dollar properties around us. We live here, and the apartment is attached to our home, but is also completely separate and private, with its own entrance.
The apartment is studio style, generously proportioned, and located on the second floor. It is accessed by a short flight of stairs that is independent of the main house. The apartment hosts a King-size Bed, small dining table and chairs, wall mounted flat screen TV, and oversized dual leather recliners to just sit back and relax! The view is divine, looking over a pastoral landscape of towering granddaddy oaks and horse paddocks. The bathroom has a tiled shower, WC and wash basin. The apartment also offers a compact fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven/air fryer, and kettle. In the gardens just outside the apartment, we offer a full size picnic table and charcoal grill, as well as a fire pit. Entrance to the hot tub and the pool area is adjacent to the apartment entrance.
Our grounds, paddocks, and gardens are yours to enjoy, along with the pool and hot tub area. Towels are provided, as is an outdoor shower. Upon arrival you'll find all information needed to enjoy your stay, including our phone number for easier communications. Guest gate code, too, so you can come and go as you please. Complimentary Parking is close to the apartment entrance and adjacent to the pool area.
Location: For riders wishing to enjoy Santos Trails, we're 1.2 miles from the entrance. We are less than 10 minutes to the Florida Horsepark. We are roughly 7 minutes to the nearest Publix supermarket. We are roughly minutes to downtown Ocala.
Note: As this apartment forms a part of our residential property, we do not provide lock box access. We have noted some guests seem to prefer a "contactless experience", but given the location, nature, and privacy of our small estate, we cannot provide such an experience. Other things to note Pets: If you wish to bring a pet with you for your stay, please reach out to us. Whilst we have a "no pets" general policy, we do make exceptions at times. Just ask us. If you are looking for a bit more space, we also offer another unit for rental. It is a unique barn style loft/studio and is 1700 SF under air. Convenient location, especially if you are going to the Florida Horse Park. Friendly hosts on site. There was some confusion about hosts opening the gate for my arrival due to my plans changing and trouble communicating on the app. I would recommend getting the gate code in advance of your arrival, if possible. If you are not a fan of (large) dogs, let them know before you arrive. The heating/cooling system cycles on/off all night (like in a hotel) and is loud so you might want to turn that off before you go to sleep. The garage is under your bedroom and that door is also loud - you might want to communicate with the owners if you go to bed before 11pm. The hot tub looked lovely but was not at temperature to use - if that is something you hope to do, give them a day's notice to make sure it is heated. Safe and peaceful spot in residential area that is beautiful. Comfy bed.
