A little slice of heaven! Quiet and peaceful location. Rene and Ted let us bring our pups and they absolutely loved the side yard, playing with Molly and swimming in the pool. Excellent hosts!

You would never know the guests and their 2 dogs ever stepped foot inside the casita. Immaculate and in order like they found it. Would welcome them back without hesitation!!

Great stay. Kudos to Rene and Ted for thinking of all the little things:well stixked kitchen, laundry supplies, tons of help when we couldnt get the tv to work, and a very high shower head, vital for tall people. All in all a great stay.

Another great stay! We were her last summer and came back this past week to this A property. The casita is well equipped for everything you need inside and out. The pool area is the star of the show and something we enjoyed EVERY day of our stay. Rene is a great host and responds in a nano-second to any question or request. The bed is comfortable, the neighborhood quiet and the AC is a beast (in a good way)! The owners live part-time on the other side of the property and visits from Mollie the dog are a bonus. We will be back next summer if not before!

Our hist was the best yet. Very friendly and helpful. The amenities were great. Everything we could think of was provided. The decor was beautiful and tasteful. Everything was pristine clean. We will definitely come back.
Our dogs loved the big French doors to look out.

We loved our time at this property! It’s ALL the things—roomy, clean, comfortable, well-equipped, great AC, quiet. And the very best part? The POOL and the beautiful, tropical landscaping out back! We met the owners and Molly the Dog. Lovely people and a very sweet pup. We have family that have moved to the area, so we will definitely be back.

This vacation property is way underpriced for what it offers. The little house is spotless and well-appointed. It had everything we needed. But the back yard is what will bring us back. Pool, hot tub, comfortable lounges, and exotic landscaping, including some of Rockport’s famous huge gnarly live oaks. And our fur baby was welcomed without extra cost (!) We spent a PERFECT week here! Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay at but definitely not family friendly . Cannot move anything without the owner complaining . Moved her shells out of reach of my children and she made a comment in regards to it then later apologized. Owner was not able to locate coasters that had been moved and reached out through my personal contact info days later after checkout to inform me her cleaning lady wasn’t in charge of finding them so she was filing a stolen report . Felt like I was staying at a strangers home that didn’t allow kids .And definitely was not being treated like a welcomed guest . Also owner told me I should have advised her on my son having autism before booking .

I have been hosting now for 16 years. This will be my first 1 star review. The proof is in the pudding. I have over 150 plus 5 star reviews so if someone has to move things for their stay then maybe go stay somewhere else. I did not find out later how old her son was so yes, i did apologize only because I thought he was 8 and at that age they should know the word “No”. If a guest has an autistic son then let an owner know so we can better kid proof the place and accommodate that need.. The nice is for my guests to enjoy while they are there. I have had many families there prior to this guest. Cannot please everyone !! My cleaner DID turn the casita upside down. Looked in every kitchen drawer, every dresser drawer and under the couches. My photos prior to her arrival have pictures of the coasters that were there but now are missing. They are not the cheap Walmart coasters. I did reach out to her and did not accuse her of anything other than my text explaining the cleaner said they were missing and I was reporting them and hoping they would show up. Oh wait, maybe they’re on the bottom of the pool I haven’t looked there yet. LOL - A cleaning fee is put in place to wash the linens used, clean the floors, the bathroom, the porch area, vacuum if necessary and pick up the yard after a guest has departed. If the coasters started on the table, then they should be there once you leave. My cleaner shouldn’t have to make an extra effort to find things because you aren’t watching your son. A hotel might be a better choice for you while traveling next time!!
