We loved this apt/cabin. It was very clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms. The location was very close to the state parks. We enjoyed hiking on the trails behind the cabin. The trails are set up for xc skiing through rolling hills.I would definitely stay here again.

Very cute place, nice and quiet. Loved the kitchen space and the convenient location. Would definitely come back! Hosts were very professional with great communication, and I loved how tidy and cheerful everything looked when we got there. A very happy space for our family of four, plus our pup!

We Absolutely loved this place! We cooked all meals! The kitchen was clean and organized! The only negative is the warmth of the one bed bedroom. We did open the windows to cool it down. My husband did like the pillow top mattress, but I loved it. We loved the location being so near Gooseberry Falls.

The rooms were spotless when we arrived and the host was proactive with door code details. We appreciated the location along the North Shore because it was very convenient to many parks and locales. We easily made day trips up the Gunflint Trail, Ely, Grand Marais and Two Harbors. If I were to stay along the north shore again, I would definitely look at booking this place.

This is a very nicely decorated property. The kitchen is very well stocked and clean. Cozy fireplace inside and community fire pit. Great location with trail access for dog walking. If you overpack, like I do, there are no closets or dressers in the bedroom (there is a cube cubby) or empty shelves in the bathroom. Minimal places to unpack clothes, etc. There is a stand up shower. It's small. But good water pressure and no problems with running out of hot water. It is a great location near major sights. It's up a hill from the main road, very convenient, but, you will hear the road noise when you're outside. I would stay again now that I know what to expect.

This was the perfect little family get-a-way for us. Right next to Gooseberry park, we spent the day playing in the water down at the mouth of the river and exploring the hiking paths from outside of the sauna building. I've stayed at this particular property for going on 15 years now and I can confidently say that its the best its ever been. The bathroom and kitchen remodel is wonderful, and the many blankets and towels makes the whole place feel so cozy. The new fire pit is incredible too! Not to mention the extra insulating they've done to the walls has really made a difference and we didn't hear any of our neighbors. Will be back hopefully next year to visit the fairy garden we found on the hiking path too! What a wonderful place to stay!

This was a great spot for our family of three. We visited Goodbery Falls and Split Rock. It's quiet and peaceful. There is a lot of attention to detail: the kitchen has a good selection of pots, pans, cutting boards, there's plenty of towels and wash cloths, and storage and hooks for belongings, to name a few. The commucation was proactive, friendly, and helpful. We hope to be back soon!

Cute place with everything you need. The service was great! Owner greeted her and served as bell hop to help get our stuff inside. Surfaces were icy that day! We had a couple of minor issues that were handled at pro level service. Shower is a bit tight.

Bathroom door needs trimming. A screen door would have been nice. And for a place that sleeps 6 and extra TV would also have been nice. Other than that, great place to stay. Really clean, great Wi-Fi and good service.

We had a pleasant stay, but our bathroom door dragged along the floor and was loud when closing. Additionally, the property has a bright flood light on the sauna building that makes it difficult to enjoy a campfire. Other than that our stay was okay! Works for a quick night needed on the north shore
