Normally to get a view this spectacular, you have to brave a terrifying drive up a mountain. This place is reachable by a normal car and totally doable. Plus the hosts provide a helpful video of the drive up. And it’s only a short drive to the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Magical place!

The mountain views are absolutely beautiful! The hot tub & fire pit were perfect. The house had awesome views from every room. We really enjoyed all of our meals at the outside table. The hosts Natalie & Zane were available to answer any questions that we had. Thank you!

The most beautiful property I have EVER stayed in. The views will blow your mind. Host had everything we could have ever needed - which is SO big in my book. The only downfall is the road wasn’t very suitable for my FWD SUV, but no worries we still made it to the top and it was worth it!! 10/10 would recommend.

Breathtaking views from most every room!

This home is something very special! So many comfortable places to sit and relax and enjoy the views!! Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms with so much thought to little details. We enjoyed the hammock, fire pit, (with provided firewood) hot tub, porch rockers, outdoor patio table, covered side porch rockers (during a rainstorm), foosball table, and Roku TVs. The kitchen has everything we needed and we appreciated the coffee/tea bar and snacks left for us. The pull out sofa in the lowest level made a very nice 4th bedroom and has a spectacular view as well. Everything in this home is so well organized which made for a relaxing stay.

About the host

Hosted by Natalie Brown and Zane Ray

Host profile image
Zane and Natalie have been visiting the area for over 20 years. We are very active hikers, paddleboarders and mountain bikers. We found this house, which had never been rented before, and fell in love with it. We made some substantial upgrades to make it a mountain oasis. While we are happy to share the awesomeness of this house with others, we enjoy using it as well. The house has some interesting history and we have tried to keep a lot that intact.

What makes this property unique

The seclusion, the views, the location and being surrounded by nature are what make this home special. No matter what is going on in life or in the world, this place makes you forget about all of that.
