From the covered front porch, you see the first rays of the sun rise slowly and fan out over the mountain tops. Then light hits the pristine woods surrounding you as you hear birds singing through the large yard. Later you can fire up the grill and have lunch on the open deck or roast marshmallows around the fire pit.
You'll love The Fiddlers Green! Savor the peace and quiet as you breathe in the fresh mountain air. See mountain peaks and ridges through the trees, nicely framed in wooded seclusion with a panoramic view of the Great Smokys. Let your spirit be restored.

This is our 5th year in Bryson City for the Polar Express! Our group consists of 4 children & 6 adults. Getting to the cabin was easy, the roads weren’t too bad at all. When we arrived, the linens for the guest house bed were missing, but the rental company promptly brought some out to us. Having the guest house was great as one of the couples doesn’t have children, so this gave them the privacy & quiet when they wanted it. The view was lovely & there was adequate outdoor space for the children & animals. We would definitely stay again!
I thoroughly enjoyed having the guest house available with the Murphy bed. We had two families with small children on DIFFERENT schedules, and usually that can cause friction when we all stay in the same building. NOT THIS TIME! Our early risers didn't disturb their kids, and their night owls didn't disturb our slumber. On the whole, it was a very nice cabin experience. The process was smooth and automated. The facilities were exactly as we wanted. The only downside was a missing cable so that we could not play any DVDs on the provided DVD player: however, their streaming service had the exact movie we were going to watch anyway. And that was the *worst* part of the stay!
My Wife, Daughter and I stayed at Fiddler’s Green for a little less than a week for Spring Break in March 2024. We loved the quaintness of the cabin, the guest house with games and hot tub!
The management company had great communication. We’d stay here again if given the chance.
It was an absolutely amazing view! Very secluded and quite. The accommodations were perfect for our family! Loved everything about our stay! Would definitely recommend for larger families!
We enjoyed our stay at this property and the host was kind to check in with us to make sure everything was going well 🙂 we liked the addition of the guest house, the views from the porch, and roasting smores by the fire
Overall, it was a great stay. Was initially confused with there being a Guest House and Main House. Would've loved if it was all one cabin. I understand there was a well system for the water but the water pressure in the house was not the greatest. I definitely will stay again in the future.
This was a family trip to Bryson City to enjoy the great Smoky Mountain Railroad train trip. The location of this property was very close to everything. It was large enough to provide privacy for family members. The guest house was perfect for my daughter, her husband and their new baby. We left a jacket behind and called and they were kind enough to have someone go and set it out on the porch for us so we could pick it up later in the day . we will stay here again on our next trip to Bryson City.
My family (husband, kids, dogs and me) and my sister and her husband stayed at this property and loved it. There was one issue with the water being off in the guesthouse where my sister and brother-in-law stayed but we called the host and they immediately got someone to fix it. The cabins were comfortable, clean, and had everything they advertised. I hope to be back very soon.

Needs better lighting!
The cabin was nice and clean. The guest house would have been nice but there was a damp musty smell. Probably from the mildew under the deck. The driveway is badly washed out in places. The lighting in the main house is almost non-existent; some LED lights might help. The area is centrally located and the views are amazing.
I wasn’t expecting the separate cabin to be as spacious and accommodating as it was! The Murphy bed was comfortable and our young kids had plenty of space for mats on the floor. Full kitchen/fire place/full bathroom…our own little retreat. It is all one space though just FYI. The main house is very close and was great for my brother/his family and our parents. It’s definitely up the mountain so be prepared, but the view is beautiful and the whole place was so comfortable and fun!
Do not follow Waze or Google maps all the way up. Companion property is 413. Look for that address when you get close. Private, but 20 minutes down the mountain. Lovely inside but upstairs floors wake downstairs sleepers. Put sound sleepers upstairs. Outside mold on 2nd cabin deck is dangerous. Great fire pit, we made s’mores. One butt kitchen, we cook, a lot. Check out duties minimal. Kids already want to go back!

Fiddlers Green - Ok Rental
When we arrived at the house w were unable to access the second house in the property. We rented both. There was no key, once we made contract with property management they did send someone with a key 2 hours later but the property had not been cleaned we had to wait until the next day for a cleaning lady. In the main house 1 bed had dirty linen and 2 beds had incomplete bedding change. That was also remedied about 2 hours after we arrived. All of the window blinds had issues, either they would not open and close completely or they were broken. Only 1tv worked out of 3. The upstairs shower leaked into the downstairs bedroom. The picnic tables were broken. All in all the property was not as advertised. Very frustratung to deal with after traveling all day with 6 kids.

Could Be Better
…. And should be better for the price. It’s 2024 Great Smokey Cabin Rentals, guest families require a functional internet connection.
Just to be clear, functional internet is NOT the ~1.2 mb connection provided which also loses its WAN IP address constantly.
I will admit the lease agreement warns you of the bad WiFi speed and advises of financial penalties for streaming. This is ironic and confusing as the guide book you review upon arrival provides a Hulu login to stream. Unfortunately you are unable to view the lease agreement until you make the initial payment through VRBO.
Both toilets in the main cabin did not work. There is also mold everywhere along the outside patio. One corner of the patio railing is rotted and unsafe. Additionally, the benches outside by the fire pit are broken and unsafe. The WiFi access point between the main cabin and guest house also did not work. I did call about the access point as a family member used the guest house nightly. I was assured the service provider was on the way cause they were local and there was a ticket. They never showed to fix the access point and GSCR used the holiday as an excuse then went silent for 8 days.
Maybe a proactive GSCR pre checkin inspection and checklist would be helpful, though 91 properties would be tough and expensive. I am certain guests and property owners would appreciate it. Please save the canned response and keep the .
Bryson City and the surrounding area is however, worth the trip.
The cabin was very nice and set up to accommodate people well with the sleeping areas. The guest cabin was a nice bonus, and larger than it looked in the photos. It's very secluded feeling, with other cabins nearby, but doesn't feel like you're by other people. Plenty private, yet close enough to groceries and other activities in the area. It was a beautiful place and we would love to return for another visit.
