Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash dry and restock all dishes

Turn off a/c, lights, empty personal items from fridge. Lock front door with 🔒 button on keypad. Lock gate on driveway when you leave. Have a great trip and visit again

Let me begin by expressing my sincere gratitude to Kevin, our host, for allowing me and my friends to book his beautiful homestead for a weekend getaway. This was the most affordable option I found near Lassen National Park and Burney Falls—and I was anything but disappointed. Nestled on a breathtaking 46-acre property surrounded by unspoiled wilderness, the homestead offered a truly peaceful escape. Yes, nature came with its expected visitors—curious wildlife and a few pesky mosquitoes—but that only added to the authentic outdoorsy charm of the place. I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin and his wife before our check-in time. They were warm, gracious, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything during our stay. The homestead itself was spacious and cozy, featuring two comfortable bedrooms, two clean and well-stocked bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchenette with everything we needed to feel right at home. One of the unexpected highlights was the complimentary drinks provided by the host—something you don’t see often and a gesture we truly appreciated. Evenings were best spent gathered around the fire pit, sharing laughs, stories, and simply unwinding from the pace of city life. This stay was exactly what we needed—peaceful, grounding, and welcoming. Thank you again, Kevin, for your generosity and hospitality. We hope to return soon!

Host is installing Mountain Lion,Bear Proof Bars on Window ,Doors,BBQ Patio,Fire Pit. Removing Trees 60 feet from Around Property and Road for Fire Prevention. Host is Informing Neighbor of Shooting off Civil War Cannon in Middle of Night. Disturbing the other Neighbors Peace, Fire Prevention.The Host is taking Measures of getting the Well Water Tested for Meth Lab Smell(there is a grade ,high school near by,) ground water travels downward, the home is high in the Mountains.The Host is informing the Neighbors of Dangers (Meth Labs gives you Brain,Lung Cancer,Shortens Life Span) the Meth Lab Smell, I notice twice coming from outside his Property Line. My Friends Complimented the Nice Looking Kitchen Shelfs, Sink,Bathroom Sink. The Color Palate,Mini Split,Sofas, Flooring , Fans, Refrigerator, Stove,Washer Dryer, Extra Beds,View,Wildlife, Cleanliness, Free Coffee,Sodas,Snacks, the nearest store is 30 mins from home. Which make the Host More Thoughtful. Host is installing a mini split in Master Bedroom removing toe jam floor Heater near Bed. Removing Eastern King to A Queen Bed, as to give more room for the other Person to get in the Bed.Removing Oil Tank, Relocating Propane Tanks. For Fire Prevention. In Summation once Owner,Host updates Property like to comeback, give it a 5 Star Rating. The Home has Alot of Character,Natural Beauty. Blessings Blessings Blessings
