There are also more than 15 beautiful waterfalls surrounding the area. Or stay closer to home and visit the local winery for a tasting and then enjoy aromatherapy at the local lavender farm. In the Winter months, avoid the crowds and the costs of Tahoe by enjoying skiing on beautiful Mt. Shasta.
