Missy was an excellent host and her property is an absolute gem. Everything is so tastefully appointed and tiny details do not go unnoticed. Beds are very comfy and we all slept great. Our boys really enjoyed the outdoor TV, fire pit and hot tub. This historical property is charming but just remember you are staying in a very old home with creaky floors and doors. We loved all the unique charm it offered but if you have trouble with stairs, I'd suggest finding a place with a bed on the main level. The stairs are narrow and steep. I would also make sure you have a truck with high clearance as the road back to the cabin is bumpy. Our minivan made it okay but we did bottom out a few times. It'd be a non-issue in a truck or jeep though. We visited in the fall and having the outdoor entertainment was just perfect! We will be visiting again.
