Welcome to Holbrook House in Huntersville, North Carolina! Relax in this carriage house apartment offering rural-like quiet and tranquility on a 1-acre estate in the heart of downtown Huntersville.
Fully renovated in 2024, everything in this spacious 1000 square foot apartment is brand-new and immaculate with modern amenities, including a fully-equipped kitchen, an in-home laundry, two smart TVs with Roku, a paperback library, a dedicated workstation with two monitors, peripherals, and Google Fiber wi-fi, tons of natural light and forest views from every window, and your own private treetop deck with separate entrance and smart lock for self check-in/check-out.
Our 1-acre heavily wooded, secluded, and quiet property is set back from the street on a private drive but is a 5-minute easy walk from downtown Huntersville attractions:
• Discovery Children's Museum • 760 Craft Works brewery and nightly food trucks • Neighborhood Cafe • Huntersville Ice Cream Shop • Coffee Republic & Co-working • Veteran's Park (seasonal farmer's market, outdoor movies and concerts, holiday tree lighting) • Holbrook Park (pickleball/tennis courts, playground) • Greenway entrance (access to 5+ miles of paved walking and biking trails)
We are also located just off I-77 and are close to Lake Norman, Birkdale Village, Davidson College, CPCC Merancas, Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics, and major employers like Ingersoll-Rand, Lowe's headquarters, and Novant Health and Atrium medical centers. We are 15 minutes from the Carolina Renaissance Festival and 20 minutes from downtown Charlotte, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Lake Norman State Park, and Charlotte Motor Speedway.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have their own private access to the apartment and deck via a set of exterior stairs, and will be provided a personalized access code for the door (self check-in and check-out).
Guests may also use the parking pad (including the basketball area), trash/recycling area, and unlocked areas of backyard and woods. They should not attempt to access locked interior or exterior areas of the property.
Please be aware that your host family will be on site during your stay. Workers may also occasionally be present in exterior areas of the property. (e.g., lawn mowing, pest control).
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:
• This property has a 3-night minimum stay requirement
• Your hosts live on site and work from home, and the property is located in a very sedate residential neighborhood. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am daily. We promise to respect your desire for peace and tranquility at all hours and we hope you will show us and our neighbors the same courtesy!
• This is a pet-free property as we already have two cats living on site. Our cats are not allowed in the apartment, but the HVAC system is shared with the main house. We are also required by law to accept guests with service animals. Thus, we cannot guarantee a 100% fur-free environment at all times. Please consider your own allergy risk and book accordingly.
• Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property (inside or outside).
• Accessing this property requires climbing a set of exterior stairs. There are also three stairs inside the apartment (from living room to bedroom).
• All exterior portions of the entire estate are monitored by motion-sensing security cameras for host and guest safety. No cameras are present inside the apartment.
HOUSE RULES:
Smoking is not allowed on any part of the property (interior or exterior).
We do not allow pets of any kind on the property. We are required by law to accept guests with service animals, but please note that service animals must never be left alone in the apartment (no exceptions).
No more than four (4) guests allowed overnight.
No parties please! Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Uncovered parking for two cars is included. Please refrain from blocking the garage or parking anywhere along the driveway in front of the main gate.
Guests are welcome to use any unlocked exterior areas of the property during their stay, including the back yard, woods, and parking pad/basketball area. Please do not attempt to access any locked interior or exterior areas.
Guests may use anything found in the unit during their stay but we kindly request that items (other than books/magazines) not be taken from the unit upon departure. This includes toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, snacks, etc. Please be kind and leave amenities for the next guest!
To help us save time during same-day turn-arounds, we request that guests put any dirty dishes (including bathroom glass) in the dishwasher and run it prior to check out. No other cleaning is requested/required of guests. Thank you!

I had a great stay. I didn't need to buy any extra supplies, it was well appointed. I stayed 2 months and cooked many meals there and had my grandkids over. They were able to enjoy the games that were provided. There was bad weather and trouble with the furnace and both were handled swiftly. The owner communicated with me through the issues. I would stay here again.

We loved our stay here! Kira is a great host and you could tell no detail was left unturned - the hotel level cleanness, easy check in and out, and everything in between. You could tell there was thought put into everything and it made the stay easy.The proximity to downtown Huntersville was a huge bonus. We took walks each morning to go get coffee, and to the downtown park (which was great - had an awesome play set for kids and a lighted tennis/pickleball courts). Was also easy to get to freeway. Would stay here again

Great place to stay. It is spotlessly clean, was stocked with all the essentials and more and the host was super easy to communicate with. If im ever i. Charlotte again I'd definitely stay here.
